Chapter 2: Wolfgang

Selina looked in Robert's direction, and he was being escorted into the car by police.

The female policeman who had seen Selina since Robert's release had always looked in his direction. The policewoman felt that Selina was very poor, maybe because she panicked too much to take such precautions. She shook her head slightly, sighing.

"What's your name?"

Selina still didn't pay attention to the policewoman but kept staring at Robert.

Seeing that Robert had been loaded into the police car, Selina turned her gaze and noticed the policewoman's words.

“What did you say?”

The police officer usually is very short-tempered, but she tries her best to be patient today. If it weren't for Selina's clothes covered in blood, she would have been angry a long time ago.

"Hebe, did you get the information?" A deep male voice rang out.

The policewoman named Hebe immediately smiled brightly, "Captain Wolfgang."

When Selina heard the name "Wolfgang" she had an unusual reaction "Wolf walking?"

Selina's expression and voice made the two around them understand that she meant to mock the name, Wolfgang.

Hebe and Wolfgang looked straight at Selina simultaneously, her words successfully attracting their attention.

Seeing that Hebe wanted to speak for him, Wolfgang held out his hand to stop her. "If my name can ease your fear, that's okay."

"Fear?"

Selina frowned. She did not hesitate to look directly into Wolfgang's eyes.

Her eyes were now enough to prove that she was not afraid at all. Not only that, but that look also shows the nobility of a leader.

Wolfgang looked from head to toe at Selina, who silently assessed and turned his head and told Hebe, "Take her to the hospital for a check-up and take her testimony later."

"Yes, Sir"

Selina also didn't know what that man named Wolfgang meant. She wondered so she asked policewoman Hebe.

“What is a hospital?”

“The place where a doctor examined you in general”

Hebe said and frowned slightly, and she thought she must be losing her mind. With that silly question, she opened her mouth to answer as well.

When she heard that she would have to check her body in general, Selina's face suddenly felt insecure. Because even though she was in human form, a body her still had the hypothermia and heartbeat of a Wolf. So if she let humans check, her true identity would indeed be discovered.

"No! I don't need to go anywhere.”

Suddenly Selina shouted, surprising Hebe and the others.

Hebe saw that everyone was looking in her direction and was embarrassed. Usually, she often speaks loudly to everyone, sometimes even making children cry out in fear. So Hebe had a lousy nickname on the team. But right now, in front of her is not a criminal but a victim, so Selina shouting like that will make people misunderstand that Hebe bullied Selina.

"What's wrong with you?"

“I don't need to go to the hospital.”

Could this girl scream so loudly only because she didn't want to go to the hospital?

Hebe sighed. "So tell me, what's your name?"

“Selina Oliver”

"How old are you?"

“Hm…twenty-seven”

“Where do you live?”

“Northern Forest”

Seeing that Selina answered everything fluently, Hebe was skeptical of the situation just now. But after thinking for a while, Hebe still decided to take Selina to the hospital.

"But your wound needs to be bandaged at the hospital."

"No need, I'm not hurt."

Selina categorically refused. She was afraid that Hebe would not believe her, so she lifted her shirt at the waist for Hebe to see.

Hebe looked at Selina's white skin with no wounds or blood.

"Hm... I'll take you to the police station for your testimony."

Selina didn't really understand all the words that people said, "Where else is the police department?"

Hebe put his hand on his forehead, "You'll know when you get there."

“There won't be someone checking my body, right?”

Selina was still very bewildered because she couldn't be negligent and reveal herself. The consequences of this will most likely affect the Wolves.

Hebe slightly raised her eyebrows and nodded. She said nothing more and got into the police car.

On the way to the police station, Selina did not say anything more to Hebe. She very obediently waited for the place called the police station.

The car quickly ran to the police station. Selina and Hebe walked inside. Inside there were many people dressed like Hebe.

Entering Selina, he immediately encountered Wolfgang, and he was surprised to see the two of them here now.

“Hebe, why did you bring her here?”

Wolfgang turned to ask Hebe right away.

Hebe gently dipped her shoulders, and she said she didn't know what it was like.

"She told me she didn't want to go to the hospital for a check-up, there were no injuries on her."

Wolfgang nodded slightly as if understood, and he went to Selina to "Put her in Room 2."

"Yes, sir"

Hebe took Selina into one of the rooms used to take the police department's testimony. "You sit here and wait a moment."

"Okay"

Selina surveyed the room and sat down on the chair in the room.

Wolfgang calls Hebe, who wants to leave, to ask for some information before entering the room to get Selina's information.

“Hebe, did that girl tell you anything on the way here?”

“She only revealed her personal information, and the rest did not.”

“What did she say her name was?”

“Her name is Selina.”

Wolfgang looked thoughtful and, after a long time, said, "That Robert is a serial killer."

"What?" Hebe couldn't help but be surprised at Wolfgang's information.

"Isn't he just a kidnapper suspect?"

If it wasn't for the passerby who discovered Selina had blood stains and was scared to follow a man. So they kindly called the police to help Selina.

"Because after getting the information, people found out he was a dangerous criminal. He had been in a marriage, he had a dispute with his daughter and in the meantime, he shot his daughter dead. He has extreme thoughts and actions towards girls his daughter's age."

Wolfgang explains to Hebe, initially hearing the criminal's information from his teammates, he as well as Hebe. Because when you look at Robert, it's hard to tell if he's a pervert who likes to kill.

"I asked the person to go to department H to verify the information of the people who have recently disappeared."

Hebe, who had heard of Robert as a murderer, seemed to understand why Selina was so unusual.

“Hebe, you go get ready. I'll go get the other girl's information."

"Yes, Sir"

After Hebe left, Wolfgang frowned. Hebe had a unique scent on him, the smell of blood mixed with the sterilizer. Not only that, but the smell was a bit like the smell of a wild animal. But the scent was very faint. It only appeared briefly and then disappeared.

Wolfgang stood silently in the hallway as if thinking about something significant.

Suddenly a girl came up behind him, then spoke up.

“What are you thinking so focused on, captain?”

Wolfgang smiled and turned his head to look at the girl. He did not answer her question but changed the subject.

“Melanie, you appeared to distract my colleague from his duties

Melanie didn't mind either, for it was all too familiar to her. Wherever she appeared, she would unintentionally attract the eyes of the men around.

“How long do you want to stay here?”

“Don't know, but maybe the long term.”

Wolfgang's current plan will likely deviate from the original plan, as some things need to be addressed by him.
