Macie listened to Sean's whole speech on life and survival without interrupting.

"You've been taught all the right things from a young age, and with your good grades, you've become even more refined, polite, and well-mannered, with a strong sense of decency and boundaries," Sean said.

He wasn't usually this talkative. Perhaps it was because he was starting to feel a little guilty for always messing with her.
