EGGS IN THE AIR

last update Huling Na-update: 2021-03-11 14:31:41

Sitting at the dining table together as a family, the sun accompanies our morning. I get shivers when the sun hits Lena’s brown eyes. I keep looking at her and smile, I fall over and over again… the way she talks…the way she smiles, stoles my heart.

The birds sound accompanying us, the car’s horn; little Ali laughs in the living room watching her favorite cartoon. What a wonderful morning… this is the best Saturday morning I’ve ever had in my life. I walk upstairs and walk to my room, I take my phone on the bed and stare at the phone screen.

I open the gallery and I see a picture of me and Ben. I’m smiling because I remember what happened that day when we took the picture together. That was last summer, Ben and I went to the Lake on the edge of the town. We swam and the leeches bite our bodies. I ran from the lake “Jeez Christ” I screamed and ran.

“Damn….” Ben ran after me. That was the funniest moment I’ve ever had in my life, I even could feel the leeches till now “Ewwww….” I get shivers. I’m smiling now, I thought I miss Ben.

I swipe right and left and look at our picture together. He didn’t text me after what happened that day. I don’t know how Ben right now, I worried about him. I walk downstairs with the phone in my hand, I see everyone busy doing their things. Rosa is busy with Alison, and Lena’s busy with the company things. I’m wearing my shoes and about to run around the district. “Where will you go?” Rosa says. “Running around the blocks,” I say. Lena stares at me “You want me to join you?” Lena says. “No, it’s okay. Do your job, I’m good” I say.

I leave and run around the blocks. I play my music playlists, my first playlist is Oh MaMa by Naika. I'm listening to music and running around the blocks. Felt the song and the morning fresh air. I felt all weight on my chest disappears for a moment.

I love this song; this song reminds me of my mom. I missed my mom badly. I haven’t seen her in a few couples of months. The fresh air hits me, people do their Saturday morning things, shopping at the grocery store, running their dogs, or hanging out with friends.

I stop running and sit on a bench at the park “Ughhh…” I groan as the sweat soaks my body. I take off the Airpods and look around the park, kids play together and run around the park, this reminds me of my childhood. I inhale deeply and feel the air.

Someone’s coming, a woman with a ginger cat on the leash and she sits next to me. I drink my water and she stares at me. “Hey, are you new here?” She says. “Hey… I think so” I say. “I have never seen you around the block,” She says as she smiles. “I’m Maia!” I say. “I’m Hanna, nice to meet you, Maia!” She says.

“Nice to meet you too…” I say as we both shake hands. “Where do you live Maia?” She says. “I live in the 6 blocks and you?” I say. “I live at 4,” She says. “Your cat is really cute,” I say as I pet the cat. “Awww thanks,” She says. “What’s his name?” I say. “Mr. Ferossa,” She says.

I laugh as I point my eyes at the cat “Really?” I say. “Yes, my bro gave him that name,” She says. I love animals but my mom never let me have them when I was a kid. I lean onto the bench and am about to continue the morning run.

“Hey… we can hang out sometimes,” Hanna says. “Sure,” I say. “Sounds great, give me your phone number?” She says. “Here’s my number” I give her the number on my phone screen. She’s saving my number on her phone. “Alright see you later!” I say. I leave her and Mr. Ferossa at the park. I’m about to back home; I run slowly and I see a grocery store. I walk to the grocery store and buy some fruits and veggies. I'm done and walk home. When I arrive with the grocery bags in my hands, I freeze in front of the parking lot.

“Holly fucking shit!” I say. I reach over my phone in my pocket and call Lena. “Lena, please come to the parking lot NOW!” I say. “What happened?” Lena says. “Just come, right now!” I say. I hang up the phone and I’m waiting for Lena in the parking lot then she comes.

“What happened?” Lena stares at me. I point my index finger to the car. “Jeez…” Lena says as she runs to the car. Lena inhales and sighs “I know who has done this” Lena says in anger. “It must be Sasha” Lena says. “How did you know?” I say.

“I have no enemies besides her,” Lena says. “God, my car…” Lena says as she put her hand to her head. I calm her down, Lena looks mad. “Jeez fucking Christ, she’s Psycho” Lena mumbles as she sits in the parking lot. I know how Lena’s feeling right now, someone just wrecked her car with eggs and toilet paper she also scratched Lena’s car. I can see Lena’s anger in her eyes. “I’m so sorry...” I say. “That’s not your fault” Lena stares at me. I reach over Lena’s hand and stare at her. “She needs to pay everything back!“ Lena says.

“What will you do?” I say. “I’ll think about it!” Lena says. “Jeez…” I mumble. I thought today was my best morning but it’s not. I’m looking at Lena’s car and sigh. “Holly fucking crap, the car totally wrecked” I mumble as I surround the car, Lena really needs insurance.

Lena and I back to the apartment… “We're home!” I say. I put the grocery bags on the dining table and Lena runs full speed to her room. “What happened?” Rosa says. “Someone just wrecked her car with eggs and toilet paper,” I say.

“Gosh! That’s insane” Rosa says as she shook her head. “Not for her psycho ex” I chuckle. “That girl crazy as fuck,” Rosa says. “Yes, she is,” I say as I walk towards the couch and lean. Rosa comes and sits next to me, she sips the orange juice. “Where’s Ali?” I ask Rosa about little Ali. “She’s upstairs, napping,” Rosa says as sipping the juice. “Ughhh….shit” I mumble. Rosa turns on the TV and watches a movie. “I’ll back to my room!” I say.

Rosa stares at me and smiles. I leave her and walk to my room. I heard Lena calling someone in anger and saying “I’ll kill you bitch”. Those are the only words that I could hear clearly. I come to her room and stand in front of the door “You okay?” I say.

Lena turns around and comes to me; she closes the door and slams the door hard in front of my face. “Gosh…” I say. I walk to my room and close my room’s door. I have never seen the part of another Lena in my life like that. She’s fucking scared me… She may have multiple personalities.

  • Why Are you Still In My Brain?   DON’T EVEN TRY

“Gosh!” The sound of the guard’s boots echoed in the silence, each step a hammering drumbeat that made my pulse skyrocket. My back pressed harder against the cold wall as I held my breath, praying that I would be invisible, just a shadow in the dark. The footsteps grew louder, closer. I was so close to the truth, just inches away from uncovering whatever secrets lay behind that door, but one mistake, one sound, could bring everything crashing down. I dared not move; I didn’t even dare to blink, my eyes glued to the narrow gap between the door and the wall, my heart hammering so loudly in my ears I wondered if the guard could hear it. He was getting closer. The moment stretched on like an eternity. The guard rounded the corner. His flashlight swept the hallway, the beam of light cutting through the shadows like a blade. I cursed silently, feeling the cold sweat gather at the back of my neck. I couldn’t see his face, but I knew that if he saw me, if he realized I was out of my cell,

  • Why Are you Still In My Brain?   IN THE NIGHT

The quiet of the night pressed down on me like a heavy weight. My heart pounded in my chest, and every muscle in my body seemed to lock into place as I watched Lena and the officer disappear down the dimly lit corridor. A rush of adrenaline flooded my veins, filling me with a sense of urgency but also fear; this was it; the moment when I would decide whether or not to push the limits of everything I knew about the prison, about myself, and about Lena.I glanced back toward my bunk, the silence in the cell thickening. My stomach twisted in knots, my fingers trembling. I had no plan, no idea what I was about to do. I was about to break every rule, risk everything, and possibly make things worse. But something in me; something I couldn't quite explain, demanded that I find out what was happening, and why Lena, of all people, was sneaking around in the middle of the night.I stood still for a moment, weighing my options, every possible consequence rushing through my mind. If I got caught

  • Why Are you Still In My Brain?   LENA'S CALL

Back to the present time; prison.“Tell me…” Lena's voice was softer now, almost pleading but there was playfulness behind her words. Her eyes gleamed with curiosity as she tilted her head slightly, waiting for my response.I turned away, pressing my lips together. “Lena, stop…” I muttered but my voice lacked conviction. My body betrayed me; my hands trembled slightly and my breath was uneven. I hated how she still had this effect on me.“You know you want to tell me!” She teased, leaning in even closer, her warm breath against my neck sending shivers down my spine.I exhaled sharply, stepping back, needing space, needing air, needing to get away from the intoxicating presence of her.“There is nothing to tell!” I said; forcing my voice to be steady. “Just let it go” I declared.Lena scoffed, crossing her arms. “You and I both know that’s a lie!”Silence stretched between us like an invisible thread, fragile yet unbreakable. My heart pounded in my chest and for a moment; the weight of

LENA’S POINT OF VIEWBarbara’s body was warm against mine, her breath hot as she trailed kisses down my neck, leaving a tingling sensation in my wall. My fingers traced the contours of her toned back, feeling the way her muscles shifted beneath her soft skin; every touch, every kiss, sent shivers down my spine, making me ache for more. She cupped my face, her green eyes locked onto mine, filled with an intensity that made my heart race. “You’re so beautiful, Lena,” She said, her lips brushing mine.My hands found their way into her thick brunette hair, pulling her closer and deepening the kiss; our tongues danced in a slow, tantalizing rhythm, tasting each other, savoring the moment. I moaned softly against her lips as she pressed her body fully against mine, the heat between us growing unbearable. Her fingers explored my curves, skimming down my sides, sending a delicious shudder through me. She paused at my hips, teasing, making me whimper in anticipation. She smirked, clearly enjoy

  • Why Are you Still In My Brain?   SHE’S A PRO!

LENA’S POINT OF VIEW“B-barb, s-stop…”Couldn’t help myself but groan as I felt her hand slowly pierce into the water and start touching my thigh. I get my back up in the bathtub to avoid her touch.“Why? You always like it” She chuckled. Then she noticed my breast was up and down; it made her continue her action instead of stopping and right after that, Barbara slid her fingers closer to my inner thigh, really close to my Ms. Rosy.“God, no, I’m not in the mood,” I said. After seeing my response, the smile that was drawing her face disappeared, Barbara then off her hands and sighed; she was pissed. Without wasting any more time, I get up and reach over the towel; covering my naked body then I take a deep breath.Barbara is the hottest woman in town, she has green eyes and most importantly she is a brunette, her breasts are sexy and hot not small or huge, they just fit my palms and I love it, plus she is a 45-year-old woman, we know in that age they are not an amateur anymore but a pr

  • Why Are you Still In My Brain?   ASH AND DUST

LENA’S POINT OF VIEW“God, it’s so hot today!”The tropical weather hit my forehead the moment I pointed it to the burning sun on top of me. I was sitting on the bench in the middle of nowhere, waiting for Dmitri to pick me up. “Shit” I sighed, reaching over my phone. “Where the hell are you?” I mumbled. This should have been the holiday I had been imagining, after my break up with Maia I started losing my mind, and drinking all night with the girls began to be my new hobby yet I didn’t feel like myself. She changed me, Lena, the bad girl tamed by the girl she randomly met, and yes, she completely broke me, too.“God, what takes you so long?” I yelled the moment I saw Dmitri’s face pop out behind the half-opened Mercedes window. “Sorry, boss, something hit,” He said.Without further ado, I hopped into the front seat and shut the door harshly, I was pissed off and if I could rate how pissed I was; it will hit more than a hundred.“Dude, let’s go!” I rolled my eyes.We flew away from t
