Chapter 15 Faceless Foes
The air grew misty in the now grey area, appearing as if all the colour had been filtered out leaving a dull, dismal atmosphere.
Faceless people filtered past each other as they acted like mindless puppets without any strings, moving aimlessly through the town, leaving Skye puzzled as he continued to sleep. Unable to make out who the people were or why the world had become the way it has now.
How it became like this Skye didn't know, all he did remember however was passing out on the bed. So how...? Why did this scene greet him?
Was it a warning of some kind?
Very soon, a faint silhouette of a person with long hair walked past a few people in the distance suddenly caught Skye's attention. However he could not make out who the person was. All that caught his attention was the person's plain sleeve as they soon blended into the people before vanishing into thin air.

"Make sure to wear this, otherwise you'll attract far too much attention" Lacey had instructed while handing Skye a bundle of clothes from the counter. A wry smile formed on her face as she observed his flushed face.Now donning on a large brown cloak over a worn white shirt and brown slacks, Skye's brown boots trudged against the ground, feeling a little bashful for the sudden change of clothes and from having to be her errand boy. Skye kept the parcels under the cloak in order to avoid them getting damaged.As he observed the town, Skye scratched his hair which had changed from red to pure black.
