Twenty one
Emiliar found herself in a room. It had a sense of royalty, she was bounded in chains so she could not have a full view of it. She was thrown into this room by the people who carried her and they all walked away like they were not allowed to enter. She sat there awaiting whatever they were bringing to her. She heard whispers at the back of the door and she listened carefully.
" How did humans enter our territory? We should be cautious. Definitely someone is stabbing our back and they know the consequence of this. Tell everyone that the culprit will not go unpunished"

Julian sat on his own royal stool right beside his father. He watched the whole merriment and feasting. He watched the female dancers showcase their own self and the male dancers take the advantage. He watched his father steal glances at him. That was what he expected though. He left this world as a boy and now he's back as a man. He watched the ladies glare and even wink at him. He's handsome no doubt but his father should be more. Who dares wink at the king? He watched everything quietly, he heard his father's plan of giving him a wife and crowning him immediately so he won't go back again. If only they understood why he was here. He is Joel not Julian anymore and he would not do things with demons ever again. He was just baffled. He has not seen any of the girls he came with. He hasn't seen Katrienair or Emiliar yet. And he needs to find them as soon as possible. They are the reason why he is back

Luna jumped out of my dress. Sometimes, I feel she's a coward. Since I got chained here she hasn't defended me. She's always hiding in my dress. Well, another part of me just believed she didn't want to leave me. Or maybe she had predicted that she can't win any fight with those men. After the coronation, Julian was allowed to go to his chamber. He buried his head in his palm, thinking of what to do. Life as a traitor in the territory of demons cannot be easy. And now it's even worse, he is their crowned king. How the hell can he manage to fight his own people and destroy his own territory all alone. He will die. He's sworn an oath by eating the kings food. He has sworn allegiance, he's caged now and nothing can work through him anymore. What the hell was he thinking? Why did he allow that to happen? Julian walked back into his chamber. He saw that Emiliar was fast asleep on the bed in one of the rooms. He wondered how bold she could be. She still had the heart to sleep in the midst of all these tribulations or maybe she just thinks all was well. Well, you never can tell how faithful witches can be. He stood there staring at her as she was curled like a baby beneath the bedsheets. She seemed like she had high hopes that everything will be alright. She trusted him that he won't give her up or believed that she won't get caught in his chamber. He walked away to the other room and slumped on the bed. Sleep was very far from him. In fact there was no way he could sleep now that Katrienair is not here and wherever she was, she would be suffering. According to Emiliar, she's chained. He can't live with the fact that she's in danger somewhere.

He came again in green light. He came at the right time anyway. Right now I needed someone to be with me and he came. I was still chained and somehow I feel I have been forgotten in this place. No one has come to check on me and this absolute darkness frustrates me the most. My comforter is back for my training. I'm quite happy about it but I wish I knew what I'm being trained for. Maybe he sees the future already, I might be preparing for a war that is beyond me. Why me? "Master" I said as I saw him. He looked indifferent. " The one." Today, it's different. I'm loving this training. I feel very interested now in fighting —maybe it's my purpose. I love this and if love to do it for the rest of my life. And my comforter, I think it's the best for me. He's harsh but it's like that's the only way I can be trained. I'm stubborn —yes and I can't be trained leniently. I love him and I'm proud of myself. I craved to make him proud also. “Katrienair, the training has just began. It's high time you learnt how to control your gifts and use them in a battle. ” He paused to watch a bird flying in the sky. “ Stop that bird, Katrienair. ”
