14 - Belle of the night

The night was pretty bright when Belle moved into her new apartment in 3rd avenue. She dragged her boxes into the rooms based on their description. The rodents had taken over nearly half her properties back in Sun street. She tried to ignore them but they kept eating more of her stuff up so she had to move. She had tried extermination and patching up even the tiniest holes in the apartment but they kept coming in. The landlady didn't even attend to her pleas or anything.

She was angry at the world for everything that's been going on in her life. First, rodents take over her living space, the firm she works for transferred ownership to someone else and they might let go of some staff (which may or may not include her) or even end the business and she just used half her savings to get a new place in the middle of the month. She felt like raising a middle finger in the middle of the street just to spite whoever was up there watching her misfortune but that'd be crazy.&
