I was flabbergasted when I heard him mention those who mistreated me. I didn't have any plans to let them know I was still existing near them because it was useless. I didn't see any reason to fight with them or take revenge myself. However, I didn't want to be hypocritical; I wanted to grab the opportunity he had been giving me.

"It's not your problem, Mr. McWealth," I answered with a firm tone. I didn't want him to notice I was hesitant because I wanted to get justice. I wanted to know how my father hadn't had any guilt in his heart after he found out that his lovely daughter was living in the street.

He was aware when I was giving birth to my children and made me choose if I would still abort or throw my children as if they were some trash. My father was selfish, and he didn't mind hurting me just to get what he wanted—the power to merge the Lance family's company and our company using me.
