~death~

I couldn't fucking believe what I was seeing and hearing—the pretty redhead was the prez's sister.

I watched as she continued to stare at me until I finally took my eyes off of her.

I heard the prez talking to her. "Okay, Vick. I'll see you later. The guys will make sure you're straight." He then turned back to us. "Okay, you bunch of dipshits, I don't want to see any of you messing around with my sister. If I see it, consider your life forfeited."

And at his words, I could only say, "Fuck!" as I stared at her.

With that, the prez left and headed back toward his office. The rest of the guys began to disperse. I quickly got up and was about to head out until I felt a pair of eyes on me.

Glancing behind me, I noticed her watching me as I headed toward the exit. Just as I was about to open the door, I felt a pair of slim hands grab my wrist.

"Um, excuse me, Death, was it?"

I turned around, facing her again. Her eyes were searching, a mix of curiosity and determination. "Yeah, that's me," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.

She bit her lip for a moment before speaking again. "I... I know this might sound weird, but can you tell me more about the club?

I glanced around, seeing some of the guys watching us with interest. "Look, you'll figure it out," I said curtly. "Just stick close to your brother and stay out of trouble."

She looked taken aback by my dismissive tone but recovered quickly. "I understand, but I thought—"

"Listen," I cut her off, my voice firm. "I've got things to do. You want a tour, ask someone else."

I turned to leave, feeling the weight of her eyes on my back. The rest of the guys were watching, knowing full well what I was capable of and why I kept my distance. I wasn't about to get involved in something that could complicate things, especially not with the prez's sister.

Just as I was about to open the door, I heard her voice again, softer this time. "Thanks anyway, Death."

I nodded without turning around and walked out, leaving her standing there.

I hopped on my old girl, Devil Raiser. She might be an old Triumph, but she could still raise hell. As I listened to her motor purr, I took off, the roar of the engine a temporary escape from my thoughts.

But my mind was a jumbled mess. I couldn't stop thinking about the prez's sister. And I knew it would be my death if he found out I was thinking about her in the first place.

"Fuck, fuck," I cursed out loud. "What the hell am I going to do?"

She was staying around the club, and that meant I'd be seeing her more often. Her presence was already stirring up feelings I didn't want to confront. It wasn't just the danger of getting involved with the prez's sister. It was me. I was too damaged for someone like her.

Even if, by some miracle, we got involved, it wouldn't work. I had too much blood on my hands, too many demons. She was fresh, a breath of something good in a place filled with darkness. I couldn't drag her down with me.

As I sped down the road, the wind whipping past me, I tried to push the thoughts away. But they clung to me like shadows. I needed to focus, to keep my distance. For her sake and mine.

But deep down, I knew it wouldn't be that easy. She was already under my skin, and that scared the hell out of me.

I pulled up to my favorite diner, a little ways from Westbrook but close enough for whenever the club needed me. Devil Raiser's engine quieted as I parked, the familiar neon sign flickering in the evening light. This place had always been my sanctuary, a spot where I could clear my head.

As I walked inside, the familiar smell of greasy food and coffee greeted me. I took a seat in my usual booth, nodding to the waitress who knew my order by heart.

I needed this time to think. Being away from the clubhouse, away from her, gave me a moment to breathe. But even here, my thoughts were a tangled mess.

I knew what I needed to do—keep my distance, stay focused on the job. But the image of her red hair and those piercing eyes kept invading my mind. It was a dangerous distraction, one I couldn't afford. If Nick ever found out, it wouldn't just be my ass on the line; it could jeopardize everything.

As the waitress set a cup of coffee in front of me, I sighed, wrapping my hands around the warm mug. "Get a grip, Death," I muttered to myself. I had to find a way to shut these feelings down. No matter how much she intrigued me, I couldn't let my guard down. Not now, not ever.

~death~The next day started off like any other. The guys were outside, tuning up their bikes, while the girls were lounging around, chatting and enjoying the sun. I kept an eye on Vick from a distance. She was talking to Spider and Jen, looking a bit more relaxed than she had in days.Just as I was beginning to think we might get a quiet day, I heard the roar of engines approaching fast. My instincts went on high alert. Something felt off. Before I could react, a hail of bullets shattered the peaceful morning. Screams filled the air, mingling with the sound of gunfire. I pulled my gun and started firing back, trying to pinpoint where the shots were coming from."Get down!" I shouted to Vick, grabbing her arm and dragging her behind a stack of crates. The guys were already returning fire Ironhead, Drifter, and Spider were taking up defensive positions, shooting at the figures darting around outside the fence. After what felt like an eternity, the gunfire began to die down. One of the

~death~I knew it was a fucking bad idea when I went to her room. But all I was thinking about was checking on her and seeing if she was okay. I didn't expect her to grab me the way she did.Standing there, her eyes wide with a mix of relief and something else, I felt my resolve waver. She threw herself at me, and instinctively, I caught her. The softness of her body against mine, the warmth of her breath—it all hit me like a freight train.I wanted to push her away, to keep that distance I always maintained, but something about her kept pulling me in. Her lips found mine, and for a brief moment, I let myself get lost in the sensation. She tasted sweet, like temptation and danger all wrapped up in one.As we broke apart, I could feel my mask slipping. I couldn't afford this. She was the prez's sister, and I was... well, I was Death. Bringing chaos and destruction wherever I went. How could I protect her when all I wanted was to lose myself in her?"I have to go," I said, my voice roug

~Vick~After a while in my room, my brother peeked his head in. "Are you okay, sis?"I looked at him and smiled. "I'm okay. I just thank God Death was there. It could've been worse.""Yeah, you're right," he stated."But I don't understand how he found me so fast. I never told him where I grew up, and I didn't really talk about you much."I watched as my brother thought about what I had just said."Do you think he has people watching you?" he asked.I shook my head. "I doubt it.""Then he probably has you bugged somewhere," he said, his face darkening. He turned and shouted, "Spider!"Within moments, Spider appeared in the doorway, his face curious. "What's up, Prez?""Check Vick for any bugs," Nick ordered. "Her ex might be tracking her."Spider nodded, pulling a small device from his pocket. "Alright, Vick. Stand still for a minute."As Spider started scanning me with the device, I couldn't help but feel a mix of fear If I was bugged, at least we'd know how he found me so quickly. B

~vick~I couldn't believe what had just happened. As I ran inside, my mind raced. It could only have been my dick of an ex-boyfriend, but how did he find me so fast? I never told him where I grew up. Yeah, he knew I had a brother, but Nick and I rarely talked.I grumbled to myself until I heard another voice calling my name."Hey, Vick!" one of the club girls shouted. I think her name was Jen. "You okay? Did Death hurt you?" she questioned. At the mention of his name, I tensed and quickly whispered, "No.""Oh, well, me and some of the girls saw you run in here and figured he must have done something for you to run into the clubhouse that fast."I forced a smile at her question. "No, he didn't hurt me. Just a rough day."Jen looked relieved and nodded. "Alright, if you need anything, we're here.""Thanks," I said, appreciating her concern. As she walked away, I took a deep breath. I needed to figure out how my ex found me so quickly and what I was going to do next.I made my way toward

~death~I knew this was a bad idea. Why did I agree to watch over the prez's sister? Oh right, because I'm the only one good enough for the job.As I exited the prez's office, I inwardly cursed my predicament. How in the hell was I going to protect her when all I wanted to do was take her over my lap and spank that juicy ass?Shaking my head to clear my wayward thoughts, I made my way downstairs and saw her talking to Drifter."Vick, we need to talk," I said gruffly.I watched as her eyes held a mix of trepidation while she made her way toward me. I couldn't help but check her out. She was stunning, and that only made my job harder."What's going on?" she asked, her voice steady despite the worry in her eyes."Your brother wants me to protect you," I said bluntly. "Things are going to get rough, and I need you to follow my lead. No arguments."She nodded, understanding the seriousness of the situation. I felt a flicker of relief as she nodded to my words."Do you need anything?" I ask
