~ Vick~

When I heard someone calling my name, I didn't expect it to be Mr. GQ model himself. His intimidating figure stood by the door as he looked at me with those blue eyes that hid something more.

"We need to talk," he said, his voice gruff and no-nonsense.

I knew my brother had probably told him my situation. As I made my way toward him, I felt a mix of relief and trepidation. This man, Death, was known for his lethal skills and cold demeanor. At least that's what some of the guys told me when I asked.

If anyone could protect me, it was him, but I wasn't sure how I felt about it.

We moved to a quieter corner, away from prying eyes and ears. His presence was overwhelming and I couldn't help but feel a shiver of fear.

"What's going on?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Your brother wants me to protect you," he said bluntly, his gaze unwavering.

My eyes widened slightly, but I nodded. "I understand."

"Good," he replied, his tone leaving no room for debate. "Stay close, and don't wander off. Got it?"

"Got it," I said, my voice steady.

He paused for a moment, his eyes scanning my face as if searching for something. "Let's get you settled," he finally said, turning to lead me away from the main area.

So, what do you need?" his gruff voice stated.

I blushed, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Just a few, um, clothes. I really didn't bring much with me when I ran," I whispered.

He grunted at my words, a noncommittal sound that could have meant anything, before nodding his head and turning around. "Alright, I'll see what I can do. Stay here and don't go anywhere."

I watched him walk away It was clear he was a man of few words and even fewer sentiments. But for some reason, I felt a flicker of comfort knowing he was here.

A few minutes later, he came back.

"Come, let's go," he stated bluntly.

As he turned and walked away, I followed behind him until we came outside. In front of the club, parked a little ways down, was an old-fashioned motorbike that I couldn't help but ask about.

"Is this your bike?"

He nodded and hopped on, turning the keys. I listened as the bike came to life with a deep, rumbling roar.

"Hop on," he stated.

I blanched at his words. "Hop on that? I've never ridden a bike in my life."

He looked at me, his expression unreadable. "There's a first time for everything. Just hold on tight."

I hesitated for a moment I swung my leg over the bike and settled behind him. The seat was surprisingly comfortable, but the reality of being on a motorcycle for the first time made my heart race.

"Wrap your arms around me and hold on," he instructed.

Tentatively, I wrapped my arms around his solid frame. The leather of his jacket was cool against my skin, and I could feel the heat radiating from his body.

"Ready?" he asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I replied, my voice shaky.

With that, he revved the engine, and we took off. I clung to him, my fingers gripping his jacket tightly as we sped down the road.

I buried my face against his back, trusting him completely as we rode away from the clubhouse.

I watched as he pulled up to a boutique store in town. As he shut off his engine, he looked around, scanning the area with a keen eye before helping me off the bike.

"Come on," he said, offering his hand to steady me as I dismounted.

I took his hand, grateful for the support. Once I was on solid ground, he released my hand and nodded toward the store.

"Go inside and get what you need. I'll be right here," he instructed.

I nodded, As I stepped inside the boutique A friendly saleswoman approached, offering assistance, and I quickly explained what I needed. She nodded and led me to the section I needed.

When I was finished and was about to step outside, I heard a bang before glass began to shatter and people started screaming.

I was about to scream myself when I felt a firm hand on my shoulder and heard a familiar voice cussing from behind me.

"Shit! Get down!" Death shouted as he pulled a semi-automatic from his coat and began shooting back.

He pushed me down behind a display, shielding me with his body as bullets whizzed through the air.

My heart pounded in my chest, as fear gripped me tightly.

"Stay low and don't move," Death commanded.

I nodded, barely able to breathe as I crouched behind the display. his eyes scanning for the source of the attack He returned fire.

Through the shattered glass, I could see a group of men outside, their faces obscured by masks. They were heavily armed, and it was clear they meant business.

"Cover your ears!" Death ordered.

I obeyed, clamping my hands over my ears as he continued to fire. After what felt like an eternity, the shooting finally stopped. Death cautiously peered around the edge of the display, his gun still raised. The attackers were retreating, their figures disappearing down the street.

"Stay here," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.

I watched as he moved towards the door, keeping low and staying alert. He scanned the area outside, ensuring it was safe before he turned back to me.

"Come on," he said, extending his hand to help me up. "We need to get out of here."

I took his hand, my legs shaky as I stood. We made our way out of the store and back to his bike. He secured my shopping bags hastily, then helped me onto the seat.

"Hold on tight," he repeated.

I wrapped my arms around him, pressing myself against his back as he started the engine. We sped away from the boutique before the cops got there.

~death~The guys all filed into the prez's office, their faces grim and focused. Prez stood at the head of the table, the envelope in hand."Ok, listen up," he shouted, his voice commanding attention. He placed the envelope on the table. "I just came upon some very important information."Everyone leaned in, eyes locked on the envelope."It seems my sis has been keeping some very important information hidden, probably so her ex wouldn't get it," Prez continued. "But we're going to use this information to find my sister."He opened the envelope, spreading the papers out on the table. "We're going to split up and search every building that's in this information. Kill anyone that gets in your way. Find out whatever you can until we find my fucking sister."I watched as everyone nodded, determination etched on their faces."Ok, let's ride," Prez shouted. Then he looked directly at me. "And Death—I mean the enforcer—I want you to be the ruthless person I know you to be."I swallowed hard a

~death~As I lay on the medical table, all I could think about was Vick. Every moment that passed felt like a dagger twisting in my chest. I couldn't take it anymore. With a groan, I tried to sit up, but Racket's firm hand pushed me back down."I can't stay here. I need to go find her," I insisted, my voice strained with desperation."How the hell are you going to find her if you bleed out? Sit down and let me patch you up!" Racket shouted, frustration and concern etched across his face. But I couldn't stay put. Every second wasted could be used to find her. Just as I was about to push past Racket, the door to the room swung open with a force that made the hinges creak."Sit the fuck down and let Racket do his job!" the prez shouted, his eyes blazing as he glared at me."Look, Prez, I can't. They captured Vick because of me. If I was paying attention, she wouldn't—"The prez cut me off with a sad, understanding look. "I know, Death. You did all you could to protect her. If Ironhead di

~vick~I coughed as someone threw cold water on me."Wake up, sleeping beauty," a voice I knew all too well sneered.I opened my eyes, squinting to adjust to my surroundings. I tried to move, but it was futile; I was tied to a chair. The dim light of the room revealed the gaunt, sharp features of Derick, my ex. His once handsome face was now twisted with cruelty, dark eyes glinting with malice. His hair was slicked back, a far cry from the disheveled look he used to have. A nasty scar ran down his cheek, a souvenir from one of his many fights."Well then, let's get started," Derick said, a sinister smile playing on his lips as he glared at me."What do you want, Derick?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. He stepped closer, his fingers trailing along my cheek in a mockery of affection before he slapped me hard. My head snapped to the side, the sting burning across my face."You think you can just run away from me? You think you can hide with your biker friends and be safe?" He c

Her fiery attitude caught me off guard, and I sighed heavily as I headed downstairs.Jen, one of the club whores, passed me and gave me a knowing look. "Oh, you fucked up big time, buddy," she said, shaking her head.I looked at her questioningly as I continued toward the bar. "What do you mean?"She rolled her eyes. "You think we didn't hear? This place is like a damn fishbowl. Everyone knows you and Vick had a thing we just kept it to ourselves and didn't tell the prez, and now it's all blown to hell. You should have seen her face when she came downstairs."I sighed again, rubbing my temples. "Yeah, well, it's complicated.""Doesn't have to be," she replied, leaning against the bar. "You like her, she likes you. Just stop being a dumbass and go after her.""It's not that simple," I said, pouring myself a drink. "Her brother, the situation with her ex... it's all fucked up."Jen shr

~Vicky~I couldn’t believe it. The way Death shot me down at the motel—my suggestion made perfect sense. After all, that no-good son of a bitch was after me, right? I shouted in my room, venting my frustration. After we came home this morning and had a good talking to from my brother, I hadn’t seen Death since. But oh my gosh, I squealed, thinking about the motel. I couldn’t believe it—me and Death. I blushed deeply, remembering every heated moment.Just then, I heard a knock on my door. “Hey Vick,” Death said, his voice muffled through the wood. “We need you in your brother’s office in a few.”I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. “Okay, I’ll be there,” I called back.I quickly changed into something more presentable and made my way to my brother’s office. My heart was pounding, both from the memories of last night and the uncertainty of what was about to happen. As I entered the office, I saw my brother sitting behind his desk, a serious expression on his face. ~death~As we headed inside, most of the guys were busy cleaning up or sitting at the bar. Vick was pissed as she stood there, waiting on her brother, while I was trying to keep a cool head. What Vick had suggested earlier was crazy."So where the fuck were you two? You had me going absolutely ballistic when everything was finally calm and I couldn't find you or my sister!" the prez shouted, looking at both me and Vick.I sighed and stated, "Well, your sister decided to take a walk in the middle of the chaos that happened yesterday without anyone noticing, and when I finally realized she was gone, I went looking for her."I watched as the prez turned his furious gaze toward his sister. "What the fuck were you thinking, Vick?" he demanded. "You know that was dangerous! Suppose Death didn't notice you were gone in time? You know your crazy ex is out there looking for you. Then what?"Vick turned her gaze towards her brother, her eyes filled with defiance. "You don't think I know that? I
