Chapter Twenty Six; They look perfect together

She had wanted to refuse accepting it since it was so valuable and she thought it meant a lot for her but Elizabeth had insisted that she had no work for it anymore.

Monroe Island was somewhere that she had spent her time on with Jonathan's father.

He had bought that island for them when he was still alive and used it for their vacation or whenever they had wanted to get away from work and the people.

Back then it was just a vacant place with nothing on it. After he had bought it, they came up with the idea of building a house there which they could use whenever they visited and even bring their kids there when they had one in the future.

Whenever Jonathan's father would disagree with his parents on something or is stressed at work, they would go there together just to get some time alone.

If they had a fight with each other, it would be solved on that island.
