I finished planting several rows of seeds before it was time for lunch. I went inside and washed my hands of dirt before making sandwiches for everyone. I had all four of us some thick sandwiches made by the time everyone came inside to eat. I was starving from not getting breakfast and I knew Owen and Preston could eat a lot. When everyone was in the kitchen, Hank sat down with some water and I handed everyone their plates while still standing at the counter.
“How much will you get done out there today?” Hank asked me.
“I should get everything done by the time the kids get home from school,” I said.

Lacy I arrived at the South Sand Pack in South Dakota to help Aspen pack up the last of her things to move her in with me. Both of us were so excited to finally be in the same place and call it home. Lianna We followed the guy from the restaurant for an hour until he turned off the highway onto a dusty dirt road. Jasper drove past the turn-off slowly so we could look down it. It was a very long dirt road with no buildings in sight, but we had no idea what this place was. There were thick woods of paper birch and sugar maple on both sides of the dirt road.
