[Shadows In A Dream]

After cleaning up at the little creek on the eastern side of the pack, I sped back to my room to await the man who had ordered Sierra’s assassination. I was certain it would please him to know I succeeded. Sebastian would never know I killed his first mate, and now his second mate was dead, too. He would be mine.

“Arianne, two; Sasha and Sierra, nil. Oh, the sweet victory.”

I sprawled out on the bed, waiting for either this mystery man to show up or sleep to take me. It didn’t bother me what I did. Even though Sebastian had taken her to the infirmary and they were doing everything in their power to save her. Sierra wouldn’t survive. I made sure of it when I sank my teeth into her neck.

My eyes drooped, exhaustion seeping into my bones. I couldn’t sleep, though. Not yet, at least. I wanted to see the look on this man’s face when he realized I did what he asked.

After today, I would never have to worry about another woman coming between Sebastian and me
