The tattooed woman didn’t speak. Not a single word.

Instead, her head tilted, wild eyes narrowed, and her tongue dragged slowly across her lips as she crooked a finger at Stone.

A silent taunt.

Curtis grabbed his son’s arm, the lines around his eyes etched deep with worry. “Are you sure about this?”

Stone let out a low, humorless chuckle. His gaze flicked not to the cage, but across the crowd, straight to the place where his sisters sat… nestled beside the Frost brothers.

His jaw tightened.

“I just need to remind that bitch she isn’t the best here.”

Curtis frowned but let him go. To stop his son now would only make him look like a coward. And Stone would never forgive that.

“What the hell is he doing?” Taylor’s voice cracked as she watched her brother climb into the cage.

He reached for the dagger, pulling it from the wooden pillar that marked the official challenge.

“He picked the dagger?” Vera gasped.

“Looks like the son wants to prove himself,” Geri muttered beside her, arms folded.

“But he doesn’t have to prove anything to that deranged woman,” Vera said sharply, fear clear in her eyes.

The entire arena had watched the woman take down two strong fighters like they were nothing. Fast. Brutal. And now her opponent was Stone.

Only Tara sat still.

“Stone’s a great fighter. We all know that,” she said, voice calm as ever, eyes glued to the ring. “He’ll win.”

Her steady voice gave her sisters a kind of comfort. Taylor exhaled, nodding slightly.

But beside them, Amarok studied Tara. His eyes hadn’t left her once. She looked so composed on the outside—but his wolf could feel the storm underneath her skin. She was anxious… but controlled. Powerful.

The whistle blew.

The cage door shut.

The fight began.

Stone moved first, light on his feet, muscle tight as he struck her with a hard right hook.

The woman stumbled… then smiled.

She attacked, landing a sharp elbow against his jaw, then a spin-kick to his side. But Stone held his ground. He ducked under her next move, catching her ribs with a hard blow that had the crowd roaring.

Curtis leaned forward, lips pressed tight.

Taylor’s fingers dug into Vera’s hand.

Tara stayed still, though her eyes never blinked.

The fight dragged on, sweat and blood glistening on both fighters’ skin. The woman was fast, unpredictable, and every blow she landed seemed to slice deeper.

Stone's foot slipped slightly, she saw it, and struck.

A hit to the jaw.

A hit to his stomach.

Then a final punch to the side of his face.

Stone dropped.

Gasps rang out. Silence followed.

“This is your best fighter?” The woman laughed, blood on her teeth as she pointed at him. “He’s a pussy.”

The crowd buzzed, her back was turned to him.

But Stone wasn’t done.

He surged up and slammed into her with a hard tackle, flipping her body and climbing on top. He roared—wild, uncontrolled and his eyes snapped to Amarok. Then Tara.

That sight, his sisters with them, lit the fire inside him.

He pulled back his fist, rage in every inch of it, but she twisted fast. Her legs wrapped around his waist, flipped him to the side, and then—BAM.

A harsh kick. Straight to the back of his head.

Stone dropped unconscious. Screams rang out.

Taylor and Vera yelled their brother’s name, but the fight was over.

Before anyone could even breathe, Tara rose and limped forward, and jumped into the cage.

She didn't hesitate, she picked up the dagger.

The crowd erupted again, but quieter this time. Shocked.

She stood over her brother, eyes flickering to the wild-eyed woman who just smirked, already licking her bruised lip.

The crowd fell into stunned silence as his limp body was dragged out.

“Oh, how sweet,” she mocked. “Sister wants to revenge brother. What an amazing show this is.”

Tara's voice came low, steady.

“The only person leaving this cage conscious… is me.”

From the stands, Amarok and Geri roared her name, but it was too late. The gate had closed. Her challenge had been made.

“You’re gonna regret this,” the woman whispered, raising her fists.

Tara said nothing. But she didn’t flinch.

Then the woman attacked. A blur of punches.

Tara dodged, blocked her eyes sharp, waiting.

The woman spun, her leg slicing through the air—but Tara caught it. Threw her off balance.

The crowd gasped.

She was faster, not stronger, but smarter. She let the woman swing again, let her waste her energy on wild, frustrated punches.

Outside the cage, Amarok’s fists were clenched so tight they trembled. Geri had to hold Taylor and Vera from running in.

“Tara, watch it!” Taylor screamed.

Tara looked up at the sound of her voice, just for a split second.

And in that moment, a kick slammed into her stomach. She coughed, stumbled back. The woman rushed forward, fist raised.

“Your forbidden mates won’t save you now!” she hissed.

But Tara saw it coming, so she ducked.

Kicked hard her boot smashing into the woman’s shin. The woman screamed, staggered.

Tara didn’t wait.

She launched forward, grabbing her, slamming her to the ground. Fist after fist.

The woman tried to get up, but Tara slid behind her, locked her arms around her throat. She squeezed.

The woman gasped hard then— Her body stilled.

She passed out.

The cage fell silent.

Then the cheers started, waves of them crashing through the crowd. Curtis stood, frozen. Taylor and Vera hugged, crying in relief.

Amarok exhaled… but the relief didn’t last long.

A loud growl tore through the air.

Tara turned, just in time to see a man with long black hair and a scar across his face storm forward into the cage.

“You fucking bitch!” he snarled.

He shifted in midair, bones breaking, fur exploding into his massive wolf.

He charged straight for her; Tara froze, but not Amarok.

His body slammed into the ring, shifting mid-leap, his black wolf form soaring through the cage and crashing into the attacker.

Fur flew and blood hit the sand.

They fought hard snarling, clawing, biting.

Tara backed away, terrified—but Geri leaped in, grabbing her. “Come on!”

“No! We can’t just leave him!”

“He can handle himself!” Amarok could. And he did.

He ripped into the other wolf with powerful strikes until the challenger finally dropped, unconscious.

The crowd roared again, but this time, Amarok didn’t care.

He limped out, bloodied, in his wolf form. Tara and Taylor rushed to him.

They dropped to their knees, arms wrapping around his warm fur.

“You scared us,” Tara whispered, pressing her face to his neck.

Amarok's wolf huffed.

“No sweetheart,” Geri said from behind them,

“You scared us.”

The rain poured.Hard.It beat down on the rooftop with a fury, rattling the windows and sending a chill through the house, but Tara heard none of it.She sat curled on the edge of her bed, knees to her chest, a book turned upside down in her hands. Not even for food. And definitely not for peace of mind.Vera had tried. On the second day, she had managed to pull Taylor out for a walk. The two of them had gotten ice cream at the park, just to feel something. But Tara had refused. She hadn’t even looked up when they asked. She’d only buried herself deeper under her blanket, into the coldness that wrapped her heart. Now, she sat by the window, staring out at the dark clouds while raindrops slid down the glass like teardrops. Her voice broke soft

Warm steam curled into the air as the men carried the girls into the large bathroom. The tub sat like a throne at the center, wide enough for more than four, filled with hot water and lined with rose petals that floated gently on the surface. The candlelight flickered along the tiled walls, casting shadows that danced with the heat in the air.Amarok held Tara close, his arms strong around her shaking body, while Geri gently placed Taylor down in the water before sliding in next to her.“Are you okay?” Amarok asked softly, brushing wet strands from Tara’s face. She flushed hard, her cheeks deep red, and quickly hid her face in her hands.Taylor let out a soft, shy laugh. “We’re… fine. Just trying to breathe again.”Geri chuckled as he leaned over, placing a kiss on her temple. “You both were perfect,” he murmured. “And now, we’ll take care of you.”Their voices were lower now, tender, laced with a softness that wrapped around the girls like a blanket.Amarok reached for a small spong

“Ahhhh... oh…” Taylor’s moans spilled out freely, soft and needy, her head thrown back as Geri’s mouth latched onto her breast. His tongue teased her with slow, wet strokes, while his hand gripped her waist tightly. She writhed against him, her fingers tangled deep in his hair, pulling him closer, like she could never get enough.“Fuck, you taste so good,” Geri groaned, the words muffled against her skin, his lips wrapped around her nipple, pulling a sharp cry from her.Tara sat frozen, her lips slightly parted, heart racing as she watched her sister come undone.“Do you like what he does to her?” Amarok’s deep voice rumbled behind her.She flinched but nodded. The truth hit her hard. She feared this—feared how much she longed for it. Her body burned for it. For that same look in Taylor’s eyes. That same bliss. That same release.A small, wicked smile pulled at Amarok’s lips as he cupped her cheek and kissed her. Tara gasped at the force of it, but she kissed him back with a hunger t

The tent prepared for them was like something out of a dream, soft golden lights lit up the cream-colored interior, and a gentle fragrance of flowers floated through the air. The cushions scattered on the floor were plush and inviting, and silky drapes hung from the corners, swaying lightly with the breeze. All three girls gasped as they stepped in, their eyes wide with awe. Then they broke into soft giggles like children with a secret. They didn’t waste time. They rushed for the bathroom, squealing like little girls. Thankfully, it was large enough to fit all three of them. Warm water filled the air with steam, and they bathed together, laughing and playfully splashing as they washed the long day off their skin.By the time they stepped back into the room, towels wrapped around their bodies, Gary stood by the tent entrance. He had a soft smile on his face.“Alpha has asked that you both wear this… and join them for late-night tea,” he said as he dropped a basket on the bed, then turn

Tara watched from the side, her arms folded beneath her chest as her sister sang into the mic, her cheeks flushed pink from laughter and drink. Taylor’s head leaned into Geri’s as they both swayed side to side, singing a familiar old love song. Their voices were off-key, but neither seemed to care. The karaoke machine had been brought out not long after the firewood was piled high, crackling in the cool night air. One by one, everyone had taken their turn singing, some boldly, some slurring the words through drunken hiccups. Now the night had ripened into midnight, soft embers glowing across the sand, bodies scattered—some asleep, some passed out beside mugs and bottles. The energy had shifted. Slower. Warmer. The Frost pack, like always, was more men than women. The only females who’d come along for the festival weren’t warriors, weren’t fighters—just kitchen hands and servants who barely mingled. That was why so many of the males had found their mates here. Most of girls were unma
