Wonderings: Rekindled Friendship
[Kael]
When the girls left, Terrence and I were in the car, waiting for Amelia to show up. The sun was setting but there was still no sign of her. I leaned back on the car seat and sighed. I wonder if I'm the reason she doesn't want to show herself. I keep thinking that maybe it's all my fault. Terrence must've noticed my silence.
"Do you think that we'll get to see her tonight?" He asked me. I looked at him but his eyes were on the house in front of us. I looked out the window before I answered.
"Whether it's tonight or tomorrow night or the night after that, I don't care how long I have to sit here and wait for her. I'll wait for her." I answered. Terrence looked at me and he started chuckling.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"You're so cheesy sometimes." he answered. I punched his arm as he said that.
"Shut up!" I yelled. He stopped laughing but he still had a smile on his face.

Kael and I spent our time talking and reminiscing about our past. It's been so long that I completely forgot how much fun I used to have spending time with Kael. [Kael]We saw a figure walking towards the house. Without a second thought, I leapt out of the car and ran towards the mysterious figure. Could it be Amelia? Can I finally see her again? Those were the questions running around in my head. I could faintly hear Terrence calling out to me but all I could think about was Amelia. I wanted to see her. I wanted to see her so badly. [Terrence]After what happened yesterday, I could only assume that Kael is in a bad mood. When we went home yesterday, I called Aira to tell her about what had happened."Terrence? How was everything? [Terrence]After my meeting with Kael, I headed back to my office. I had a lot of work to do plus the investigation needs to be supervised. I don't want someone tampering with the investigation so I need to be there when it happens. When I arrived back at my company, my assistant greeted me at the entrance and told me some good news."The corporate investigators are here, would you like to meet them right away?" She asked. [Terrence]The week was exhausting due to the investigation. I had to work overtime for a few days straight and I had to be at the office really early as well. There were a lot of paperwork to be done in order to let the investigation run smoothly. It's finally Friday and I can't wait to just relax. By Monday, the results for the investigation will come out and I'll be able to know if someone in my company is working for the enemy."Sir, your coffee." My assistant came in, placed the coffee cup on my desk and left. She was having a hard time as well since she was the one who had to schedule everything and make sure that the meetings and conferences were going smoothly. I was glad that my assistant was very competent. [Kael]After going to the security office to check the surveillance for the delivery man, I found myself hoping for something. I don’t know why but I have the strongest feeling that Amelia is still here. The security cameras caught the delivery man but his uniform wasn’t familiar to me.
