It wasn’t a dream. Ben was really gone.

I placed my hand on the space beside me before I closed my ears and sighed before I got up from the bed. It was rare for Ben and I to fight, there were times when he had to leave so we could cool down but this time was so much different than our previous fight.

This time Ben looked tired of me and I felt numb watching him leave.

I looked at the time, hardly shocked I was waking ten in the morning after sleeping so late in hopes Ben would change his mind and come back. I was still tired but I needed to leave for Azrael’s place.

Today was his doctor’s appointment.

The distance between the new house location to Azrael’s new place was far but it was closer to my workplace. I needed to buy a new phone soon because I had to be using Ben’s old phone until I bought a new one soon.

The moment I arrived at Azrael’s place; he was about leaving. There was a car outside waiting for him and he smiled
