63. BAD NEWS
A call at the late hours of the night jolted Ben out of bed, she switched the lights on and checked her room for where she threw her phone before plopping tiredly on the bed and sleeping off in the process.
She finally saw it where it laid on the cabinet, she grabbed the phone and checked the call she missed.
"What could be wrong with Annie, why is she calling me this late?" She checked the time and it was some minutes past 3am.
"Is she fine?" Ben shivered as she pressed the phone, Annie had finally gone to see her dad after that night and she's been there for three days. "Annie?" Ben called immediately she picked up.
Annie sobbed.
"What's wrong?" Ben asked.
"Dad, my dad is dead." She broke the sad news.
"Ouch." Ben held her chest, it hit her like a dagger was pierced right into her heart. "I'm so sorry, Annie. When did that happen?" She asked.
