Chapter 11 - Levi
Levi clenched his fork tightly in his hand, watching Laurence smile widely at Doriane. He was sure his glare was one that could kill.
If he touched his mate one more time, he was going to kill him.
Levi studied his mate from across the table, making sure she wasn't too uncomfortable.
He noticed the discomfort she had, how she would shrink in on herself and coil at some of the probing questions his brother asked.
However, she was still chewing her food and putting more down, so he knew she wasn’t entirely uncomfortable.
Watching his brother laugh and smile at his mate while learning about her was killing him.
She hadn’t interacted with him the entire meal, so the flirting was only one-sided, but it was still making his blood boil.
