It was exactly a week after Vivien and the doctor's appointment. Things started to take a downturn I couldn’t get Vivien's words put of my mind and her words created so much doubt and power in my mind that I started to become distant. It didn’t help that Alex felt guilty about her and the dinner which I still felt riled up about it, but didn’t say much about. The distance became quite evident to everyone including even my nieces, who just chose to snuggle with me compared to the usual excitement. Dinners became more of a chore than the usual gathering of laughter and talkative atmosphere, I most sat pushing my food around while Alex watched me with a frown on his face and Lzzy watched us both.
