As I stood against the door, a frightened whisper, barely audible, came from under the sheets. “Who are you?” The little boy from earlier, the one with the haunted eyes, was huddled beneath the quilt, his small body trembling. Only his face was visible, peeking out from the folds of the fabric, a mask of pure terror.

My heart ached for him. He was just a child, and he was as trapped and terrified as I was. A wave of empathy washed over me as I moved closer to him.

“Hi,” I said gently, my voice barely above a whisper. “I won't hurt you.” My movements were slow and deliberate as I inched closer, giving him the space and time he needed to process my presence.

I sat on the plush armchair nearby, and instead of pushing him, I simply waited. The silence stretched between us, thick with unspoken fears and the heavy weight of our shared situation. I let it be, hoping he would understand that I was not a threat.

The minutes ticked by, each second feeling like an eternity. Slowly, with immens

Pov - Stella Grace? He didn't just look mad; he looked absolutely feral. This wasn't the kind of anger where he wanted to kill me. This was the kind of rage that made him look like he wanted to burn this entire building to the ground, with everyone in it, just to watch the world burn. His eyes were like two raging fires, and the sight of them sent a jolt of pure terror through me. I didn't even think; my body just reacted, taking a small, fearful step back. My mind was screaming at me to run, but my feet only managed to back away, completely paralyzed by the sheer intensity of his fury.I couldn't wrap my head around it. His rage was so intense, but why? I was just trying to do what I thought was normal in this world. I'd been watching these men all night, and it was obvious they preferred being with multiple women, even in front of their wives. I was just offering Ryker the same thing, making it easier for him to get what he clearly wanted. I was even taking the initiative, and inst

POV - Ryker Lance.I dragged Stella up the grand staircase, a living inferno of rage consuming every inch of my body. My fury was a wild, roaring fire that threatened to burn this entire gilded cage to the ground. How could she stand there so calmly, so emotionlessly, and accept that girl? The very thought of her even glancing at another man, much less sharing her with one, fills me with a possessive rage so profound I want to kill every man on this earth just to ensure she has no one else to look at.And yet, there she was, with that fake, brittle smile on her face, accepting that girl. It wasn't just a simple mistake; it was a cold, calculated betrayal. The audacity of it was unacceptable. Utterly unacceptable. If she thinks for one second that my body will ever belong to anyone else, that my skin will ever touch another woman's, she's got another thing coming. I will make sure she understands, deep in her bones, that Ryker belongs to Stella and only Stella. I will engrave that tr

After what felt like an eternity of suffocating tension, the meeting, or whatever that horrifying spectacle was, finally came to an end. The moment the men at the center table began to disperse, Ryker was on his feet, his eyes scanning the room for me. He walked straight toward me, his presence so commanding that people moved out of his way without a single word from him. Even the women from the central table, the ones who had been so arrogant and powerful just moments before, scrambled to create a path for him.He reached me and silently gestured for me to stand. As I did, he placed a hand on the small of my back, a seemingly gentle touch that held an undertone of control. "Remember my warning," he whispered, his voice low and dangerous.A chill ran down my spine. The way he said it, it felt less like a reminder and more like a final threat. Was this nightmare not over? If so, where were we headed? My question was answered the moment we stepped out of the first hall with the others

You would think that in a situation like this, women in the same boat would stick together, but it was baffling. The moment I sat down, I was hit with a barrage of hostile stares. It was like I had walked into a pack of wolves, and they were all sizing me up, deciding if I was a threat.Only a couple of women even acknowledged my presence, and that was just with cold, indifferent nods. The air was thick with tension, making the whole thing incredibly awkward. I had assumed their hushed whispers were a form of bonding, a way to find solace in their shared misery. But I was wrong. Every comment, every forced compliment, every word that left their lips was laced with venom. They were all jabbing at each other with subtle insults and snide remarks. The power dynamics were obvious—some women held less status than others, and the difference was clear in the way they were treated. This wasn't a group of allies; it was a hierarchy, and they were all fighting to stay on top, no matter how mis

To my surprise, Ryker didn't touch me further. He just kept me pinned in his arms, the tension in the car so thick it was suffocating. I squirmed uncomfortably, a mix of anxiety and a strange, electric anticipation coiling in my stomach. But he held me tight, his hand a firm presence on my waist, not moving anywhere else, not touching me further, until the car came to a slow stop. When we got out, he took one look at my dress, his eyes lingering on the deep V-neck that showed off my breasts. His gaze darkened, a storm of possessiveness brewing in their depths. Without a word, he shrugged off the impeccably tailored jacket he was wearing and held it out for me. I put it on, feeling a flash of relief as the cool fabric settled over my shoulders. Only after he had buttoned it all the way up, covering every inch of my exposed skin, did he nod in approval. Honestly, I was low-key thankful. As much as I hate him controlling me, I didn't want a bunch of prying eyes ogling me all night, eithe

The first round was just the beginning. The night stretched on, a blur of tangled limbs and whispered desires. We went at it again and again, our bodies a landscape of pleasure and breathless urgency. The hours melted away, marked only by the shifting light outside the window and the growing mess we were creating. There were no limits, no holding back—just the raw, primal energy of two people completely consumed by each other. We didn't stop until the first rays of morning sun crept through the curtains, illuminating the aftermath of our passion.By the time the maids arrived, the room was a chaotic testament to the night we'd had. They pushed the door open and froze, their eyes widening at the sight. It was pure devastation: clothes scattered like fallen leaves, pillows askew, everything in the room and bathroom destroyed and the faint, sweet scent of our fucking still hanging in the air. For a moment, I think they truly feared the worst. Then, their gaze landed on the bed, and they
