Chapter Nineteen

      They drove to the Oakley diner as Margaret was craving their milkshake and burger. The drive was mostly quiet except for that time Margaret asked Sam what he thought about Antonius. He was indifferent about it. He wasn’t in support of his actions but then, understood the reasons behind them. He pointed out specifically that he didn’t at all like he had killed a baby. His lips had curled into a sneer when he said it. The scent of burgers, spaghetti, ketchup and fries combined hit them as they made their way to the seat down the diner. Sam ordered a bottle of coke and fries, likewise Margaret, who had gotten chocolate milkshakes instead. And Theresa got herself Oakleys special tea and sandwiches.

    They car came to a halt when they came upon Theresa’s apartment building. “Thank you for a lovely evening Margaret,” she appreciated as she got out of the car.
