Chapter 9 A weird sensation

Lorcan's pov.

"My little baby!" Grandma scooped me in a tight and loving embrace. "Why is it so hard to even see my child's face these days?"

"I'm sorry granny, I was really busy," I gently told her. She's the only woman who's allowed to touch me and I don't feel like throwing up. "I will visit you more often from now on."

After my mother died while saving me, my father became really indifferent to me because he believed that I was the cause of her death. Which I kinda was. His hatred towards me started after that. I have had a very bad relationship with my father.

When I was seven years old, that one time I couldn't bear my father's coldness so I decided to run away from home but as I was running low on fate, I was kidnapped and sold to a vicious couple. I was severely abused by them, both physically and mentally. However, after a sudden fire burned that couple I was saved. When the police arrived, I was sent back to the Valentino family after a fingerprint comparison.
