Maddox and I are early in school to review our lessons as the exams are nearly approaching after the sports week. He is sitting in Sam's chair beside me, discussing a subject quite hard to understand.
"Angel," Sam called out my name, she almost shouted. Sam and Luke walk closer, hand in hand.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.
Luke and Sam stop beside Maddox, panting. They are like running a few meters, probably from the parking area up until here.
"So, you guys, care to share what are you up to?" Mad asked.
Luke pointed at me. "This is about Angel."
"Me?" I said as my eyes widened.

Cassy's action creates commotion and tension in the cafeteria. Students start to gather near us, checking what will happen next; they sound like bees as they begin gossiping. A month had passed, and surprisingly, all the issues about me within the campus disappeared. Without a doubt, Angelo Tan has something to do with it, but I refused to inquire further. My friends and I got out of school earlier than usual. We went home directly at about five in the afternoon to prepare for our two days and two nights vacation at the nearest Island in Davao City. I have never been this excited on vacation, especially that this is my first time going out with a circle of friends. Back then, I could only have a holiday with mom for a day or two. "Angel, make sure you have everything you need for your out of town. You don't have me there to supervise you," Mom said, sneaking in my door. Mom coughs while holding her chest; her cheeks flush as she tries to get the phlegm out. It must be a little hard for her. "Mom, your cough is back again? You should see a doctor. I can't go on vacation thinking you're not well."

Arriving at Pearl Farm Samal Beach resort, we directly settle in each of our rooms. I'm staying with Lea as we requested while the others have their rooms. Our Samal suite has a private beach which is accessible using our private stairs. The interior of the room was a distinctive design of Samal culture.It's my first time staying in a luxury room, and I'm amazed at how the staff treated us like royalty. The water activity that I've been dying to try is the taklobo and coral tour. Being a nature lover, I find it fascinating to explore the ocean's depth, and there's nothing more exciting than doing it with the one I love, Maddox.My heart becomes erratic, thinking of a million ways to explore the ocean with Maddox. I can't wait to have it with him and my friends as well. It will be the most memorable of our water activities.But before that, we have to try jet skiing, banana boating, and flyboarding. We look so cool wearing black wetsuits as we head to the site to start our water sports."Sam," I shouted when I saw Sam and Luke already on the site.
