YOU MADE ME LOVE AGAIN

    Chapter 4

" If this all you want than marry me and become mine, i don't wanna lose you to another man neither do i want to share you with other man. Just accept to marry me. I really love you, I can't bear seeing those men touching and sleeping with you. I don't want to see you hang around with any of them. So please marry me, be the mother of my children" christian said kneeling down with a diamond ring on his hand which he intend proposing to her the day he caught her with a man romancing in the car.

" No i can't imagine you proposing to me in this way, nothing romantic about it at all. I can't interested in your marriage porposal. It sounds like you trying to buy me, i am not ready to be for one man and even if am ready, that man shouldn't be you. Have got to leave now, am sorry to get you disappointed. Bye sweetheart, got an important client to attend to" bethel walked out on him without looking back for a moment to see the shock on his face. 

He could not find the strength in him to movw from where he knelt.

He rememberes clara's warnings.

He couldn't believe that she could walk out on him.

 He did not even seem to know what she was looking for by following different type of men.

If she had agreed to be his wife, he could have gladly marry her to keep her out of the reach of other men.

He tried to persuade her several times to marry him but she insisted she wasn't going to marry him and left him embarrassed. 

He flashed back to the present as he breathed deeply, now he was in bed with the same lady who bluntly rejected him. 

This was very bad of him to do, he's now cheating on his girlfriend gold when he's supposed to prepare getting married to her soon. 

He's not even sure if he loves gold the way he loves bethel.

Bethel woke up slightly, she stretched forth her hand to feel james but he was no longer beside her. 

He was gone, so soon. She knew he was going to leave but never thought he was going to leave so soon. 

Would she ever forget him, she was so endeared to him.

She felt her lips tremble in a silly way at the thought. 

Emotions swirled again inside her, disquieting. In all her years she had know James, she knew that for all her admonitions.

She'd never quite been able to let go of her entirely thinking about him. 

The question had hovered at the edges of been a fling, nothing more than that. 

Something plucked at her all the same, that flickering emotion she knww she should queue. 

Her hand found her phone on the tavle beside the bed. She found James number, dialled it.

Two minutes later she was disconnecting it. Emotions twisting inside her.

She stared blankly into space. A hollow feeling was forming inside her as James left without letting her know.

She felt the hollow feeling inside her increasing.

She tore her mind away, believing that he was gone from her life.

 That he belonged only to her past and she had to move on with her life. 

She would try not to think of him, not to remember what happened between them last night.

 She had decide to ignore the flickering emotions that came from her mind like little dust devils stirring up her memories.

" Let's go" diagoe said to Silver after they were done eating at the cafe. So, she places her hand on his, felt the finger glide across her palm on their way to grip hers. 

Her insides liquefied as he tightened his grip and tugged her to her feet, the moment she felt steady on her feet.

 She tried to snatch her hand from his as the slight tautening of his face and the flare in his eyes told her he didn't miss her wince as her arm twinged in pain before he released her. 

She threw a furtive glance around her as she could feel every single gaze in the cafe fixed on her.

 She used her left hand to take her bag, slinging it crossways over her shoulder, she hurried through the cafe with him.

She entered the car as sion as he opened the door for her.

 She immediately notice the different configuration of the seat from the last time they went out. 

She watched as diagoe slid in after her. The door shut behind him and instantly the atmosphere closed in around them.

 The push of air wrapped his scent around her, tiiggering that insane urge to bury her face in his neck and drown herself in his scent. 

The scent was a specially branded scent. it was lethal enough to attract a lady attention.

" I don't want to see you with theo" he said fixing his ferocious eyes on her. 

After forcing herself to take a few slow breaths, she turned to face him.

" You likely don't have the right to command me" diagoe glanced at her as his expression hardened.

" You won't be seeing him, neither would you talk to him. Beside, i already blocked his contact from her phone" he said then handed her phone to her.

 Her hands were already trembling as she collected her phone, a cold shiver ploughed through her as she realised he must have taken when she went to ease herself.

Diagoe gritted his teeth, finding it annoying discussing with her intensely.

 " i meant every single thing i said now" diagoe said looking straight into her eyes.

Watching the muted light from the sun shinning through the car bathed her in a soft glow. 

She was even more exquisite. " why all this, what for?" She demanded huskily.

"I won't change my decisions even if you give me those innocent puppy looks."

He watched her.
