Pagkalabas ko ng comfort room, nakasalubong ko si Astrid na papunta sa gawi namin. All of a sudden Jake appeared from behind me, so Astrid gave me that weird kind of stare.

Darn this guy! Why did he followed so soon? Jake moved closer to me with a smirk on his lips. “I’ll see you outside,” he said softly in my ear. His manly scent taunting me as he moved away, mabilis na naglakad papalayo.

“Where have you been, Beshie?” Astrid asked pero kitang kita ko sa mga ngisi niya na alam naman nya kung saan ako galing lalo na at biglang sumulpot si Jake sa likuran ko.

“There,“ sagot ko sabay turo sa washroom at saka nagpatiuna na sa paglakad papunta sa school auditorium while Astrid followed me.

My eyes scanned for Jake through the now thick crowd. It seemed like more people had arrived while I was locked in the bathroom with him.

“Are you looking for him?” Astrid asked who is beside me now.
