Chapter 11: In which he takes her by surprise.
I came to with a start when I heard voices in my room.
Did a burglar decide to break into an old, dingy, rundown apartment? If so, then maybe I can borrow something from him, since he must have already found out what a terrible mistake that was. How about I told him to pay my next month’s rent in return for not calling the cops?
Exactly how delusional was I right now? I was supposed to be sick, not high. Was I actually thinking about making deals with a burglar? Someone who could possibly have a dangerous weapon on him and might end up doing horrible things to me?
Knowing that I was only procrastinating from the worst, I opened my eyes to the shocking realization that it wasn't a burglar, but my boss, Nathan Synclair, sitting on a chair by the bed and taking on his phone. Correction, yelling on his phone.

Chapter 12: In which it’s the start of something new. My scowl deepened as Nate continued to laugh, holding onto his stomach. Chapter 13- In which its time for some action. "Smells delicious!" Nate said as he came into the kitchen, hair still wet from his shower, towel draped over his shoulders and his midnight hair falling all over his forehead. Chapter 14: In which she takes the first step. After getting the message from Samuel, I retired to my room saying that I was a bit tipsy and sleepy.
