It was officially time for us to go back home from this 'business trip' which had no meetings whatsoever, just a bunch of visitations and sex. Mind-blowing sex!
I was still wrapping my head around what had happened this week and what will happen now, do we continue fucking around, am I still his assistant because I know there's a policy about sleeping with employees or colleagues, where does our relationship go from here.
"What are you thinking about, Lia?" JJ asked, pressing his lips against my temple and I smiled looking at him and back out the window.
"I'm just excited to see Ora again," I said, threading our fingers together, his hands were warm and big and I loved the feeling of having them in my hand.
"You literally talk to her every day, video call on that not
I followed Ora, to my bedroom with thoughts of taking a long shower and going to sleep, hoping to dream about JJ but Aurora wasn't having that, plus dad had his stupid dinner. "So tell me in detail, what exactly happened," Ora said as she sat on my bed with her legs crossed opening a packet of snacks and staring at me intently. "Why should we talk about me, what about you?" I asked hoping to distract her, and I might say it did because she was a blushing mess and it made me wonder what happened between them when I was away. "Later, now, you talk Ms Belgium, plus you owe me money," I rolled my eyes and dropped on my bed smiling. "It was awesome!" I said leaning on my hands so that I could look at her, "And that was no business trip, whatsoever," I said and she grinned
"We're getting married!" Kiara showed me her enormous ring on her left hand. Interestingly, she had also gotten her nails done. "Amy?" my dad said putting his hand on mine and I looked at him smiling. "Congratulations," I said, getting up to hug him, and Kiara. "I know how much you love each other," I said slowly and she giggled, hugging me tighter. "Oh my gosh, Amy, it's going to be a huge wedding, the best out of all weddings you've ever seen, I'm so excited!" she said pinching my cheeks and I frowned at her before smiling. "Yay!" I tried to match her enthusiasm, slowly pulling away from her. "Well, I will just eat in my room and give you guys some time..." To change your minds! "Oh, Amy, we also have to plan for
"Good morning, sir," I said seductively, handing him his coffee with a smile. I had been waiting for him to arrive, and I only came to work an hour before he did. He pressed his lips against mine and held my face in his hands slowly deepening the kiss. "I missed you," he said, pecking my lips one last time before sitting down on his desk and opening his arms, I walked over to him and he pulled me down his lap. "It was only a few hours," I said laughing when he pressed his lips on mine again. "A few hours too long, so tell me, how were they without me?" "The same as any other day I'm not with you?" "Torturous, argh my poor baby," he pulled me into a hug and I giggled against his chest.
The week ended quickly and it was time for me to say goodbye to JJ and hope that he would call me this weekend because I'm so obsessed with him! I was in my office lazing around, while he was in the conference room having a meeting with some guy who was trying to sell his product into JJ's hotel, and apparently, I wasn't needed for it, which is a blessing because I'm exhausted! Aside from the fun JJ and I would have, we still both had a lot of work to do and go catch up with, consider it two weeks worth of work and I'm just so glad to have the weekend here so I could get some needed rest. Kiara has been the same with her wedding plans, it's always me, me, me, and I never hear dad say anything about the wedding but from what I've seen he looks almost relieved that she's not always around him anymore, weird.
"Ms Adams, there's someone here to see you," one of the maids' voices boomed from the other side of my bedroom door. I stared at the door with a slight frown before shouting. "I'm coming!" Who was here to disturb my peace on a Saturday night I have no idea, Aurora was somewhere prancing with Chris, she's always with Chris lately. Pulling my sweater on, I opened my bedroom door and walked downstairs. My dad and Kiara had gone on a date night of some sort, what for I don't know since they're already getting married! So in conclusion, I was kind of home alone. Once I reached the bottom of the stairs, I walked into the foyer and found him staring out into the garden, I crossed my arms over my chest and stood behind him.
Today I came to work a little bit earlier than I usually do. In fact, I've been sitting in front of my laptop for the past five hours staring at the door wondering if she'll be coming to work today. I didn't understand where the fight between us began. It was frustrating that when we were finally making a breakthrough, somehow we got pulled back and further away from each other this time. I said things I didn't mean, she probably did say things she did mean but I didn't want her to believe those things. I can't believe I called her a whore, of fuck I'm such an idiot! The reason why I didn't agree to what Jack asked me was because I know Jack is a very competitive person and would instantly see Lia as a game, and she's more than a game to me, and I don't want to fight with anyone for her attention or for her time
"How are you feeling!" Ora asked, standing next to me as we looked at ourselves in the mirror fixing our dresses. "I'm fine, just ready to come back home and sleep," I said, fixing her hair and pulling some strands to the front. This girl's hair would be the death of me. "I can't believe that you didn't even make it to the bridesmaid's list," she said once again expressing her anger and resentment towards Kiara's decisions. "It's her wedding," I responded and Ora huffed, folding her arms over her chest. "That you basically did the planning for, went cake tasting, suites and dresses fittings, furniture, food that should be served and all that jazz, one would swear it's your wedding!" "Ora, it's really fine. You shouldn't
I stared at my father as he forced a smile on his face, dancing with his new wife, aka my stepmother Kiara, while both smiling at each other long enough to have some great photos taken of their first dance. "So he's kicking you out?" Ora whispered in my ear as we both watched the dance floor with scowls on our faces. "Basically, and he said I should take it as a form of an apology, yeah right," I said back and she shook her head crossing her arms over her chest. "Something's wrong," she said and I stood straighter on guard checking her. "Is the baby okay!?" I yelled loud enough for the people close to us, Chris and the bartender to hear us and Chris spit out his drink coughing and I stared at Ora in horror. "Uh oh?"
