Chapter Ten| Belgium.

When I got home, I found Aurora sitting outside by the garden and decided to join her. Today had been a bit fun but also stressful and I just wanted to be in the presence of my friend and be at peace.

We both sat quietly as we watched the birds fly into their nests and as the trees danced with the wind, it was beautiful and peaceful and I just wanted to sleep out here.

"Ready to talk about it?" Ora asked me while still looking out into the garden, heaving a sigh, I got up and we walked together to my bedroom.

I grabbed my suitcase from my closet and threw it on the bed without saying anything.

"Are you running away again?" she asked me as she grabbed clothes from my closet without even asking me where I was going.

"I wish," I said as I packed the comfortable clothes she got for me. "Hey, can you pass me the sweaters and the jackets too please?"

"Where are you going?"

"Belgium," I muttered and she froze looking at me.

"That's like your favourite place, Amelia!" she said, jumping on the bed and watching me pack.

"Yes, it is, but I have to go with somebody who indirectly rejected me and said that day wasn't supposed to happen," I said as I folded the clothes and packed them properly into my bag.

"What? How could he say that!" she hit the bag and I shrugged pouting my lips.

"I don't know, and I even offered to quit so that he could be with me the way he wants to but he said I shouldn't quit," I explained further as I grabbed shoes and threw them in a different bag, I always had to have to bags when I'm travelling, I hated mixing my shoes with my clothes in one bag, I absolutely loathe it.

"He said you shouldn't quit," she said whispering and I looked at her with a smirk. "He said you shouldn't quit!"

"He said I shouldn't quit!" We both said at the same time excitedly and Aurora stood on the bed looking down at me.

"Does that mean what I think it means?" she asked and I nodded.

"Operation SJ is finally in the works!" We did our handshake and brought our hands to our hair once we were done.

"Oh my gosh, everything is going to go well now! I can just see it, it's as clear as the day you planned it, it's all coming together A!" she squealed, clapping her hands.

"Ora, you have no idea how much I want this to work but it's all about timing, even though it's in the works, it's about timing."

"Of course, so when are you leaving?"

"Tonight," I groaned, I wanted to at least get a good night's rest on my bed before boarding a plane for so many hours waiting to arrive at a destination that he chose out of nowhere.

"Did you tell your dad?" she asked softly and I threw myself on my bed groaning even louder at the mention of my dad.

"I'm twenty-one for heaven's sake, I don't need his permission for everything!" I screamed into my bed and she patted my head.

"I know, but you know how he is when it comes to you, and him," she said carefully and I got up and balanced my head looking at her.

"Tell me about the second kiss!" I said getting off the bed and packing up some extra things I think I may need, my laptop if I ever get bored, my tablet I use for books if I don't feel like watching something, ooh, headphones are very important too if I'm going to be with JJ the whole week, especially in his current mood.

She proceeded to tell me how they shared their second kiss right outside in the garden, where we had just recently sat. She said it felt all too taboo and the excitement of someone catching them was enticing for her.

"Well did anybody catch you two?" I asked worried and she shook her head making me sigh in relief. "I know it's all a rush, but you need to be careful Ora, I still want you here with me and I want you to finish your schooling and get that permanent visa card so we could travel together!" I said hugging her while I laid on top of her.

"I know, I want all that too," she said, squeezing me.

"Don't forget Chris in all that you want, maybe you too could perform your taboo performances in his house?" I said suggestively and her eyes shone. "But not now, I know you're not ready," I said, pressing my lips against her cheek and getting up off her.

"Were you ready, when it happened?" she asked, looking down at her fingers and I sat down next to her, taking her hand in mine. I told her the story again.

"I wasn't ready at all, it wasn't even something I had planned on doing so early," I looked at her as a small smile made its way up my face. "But however, I do remember wanting to do it because it felt right at that moment, he made it feel right, you know? He has that thing of me forgetting my fears and living for the moment, and a moment I lived..."

"Chris makes me feel that way too," she said and I smiled at her.

"Then you will know when the time's right, he won't force you if he really really really likes you the way you do."

"Yeah, I guess he won't. I'm gonna miss you and your loud mouth!" she said and I frowned.

"You're the loud one between us, I just have more stories," I said and she laughed getting off my bed.

"I should go, do uhm," she said looking at her phone and I rolled my eyes throwing a pillow at her.

"Go to him!"

I giggled as she hit me with the pillow on the head and I made my way to my bathroom and took a shower freshening up.

Once I was done showering, I wore my black sweatpants and a hoodie knowing that if I was going to spend plus-minus ten hours in a plane, I had to be at least comfortable in it.

I made my way to my dad's office and I found him with Kiandra, one of the housemaids yet his personal, you know what.

"Father, I'm going to Belgium," I said and he frowned looking up at me. "It's a business trip, I will be back by Sunday, I love you."

I left the office before he could tell me some sort of excuse for not going or say that I had to go with one of my bodyguards.

My phone rang in my hands as I looked for Aurora so I could hang out with her for the last couple of minutes I had left.

"Hi?" I answered the phone.

"My car's outside, do you want me to come in and help you with your bags?" He asked and I shook my head remembering he can't see me.

"No, it's okay, I have someone helping me. Be out in a minute," I said and he answered with an 'okay' hanging up the phone.

When I got out to the garden I found Aurora and Chris kissing heavily and I had to cover my eyes.

"Can you two please stop sucking each other's faces and help me with my luggage please?" I asked and I heard them laugh, embarrassed I had caught them.

"Sure, are they by the stairs?" Chris asked and I nodded still with my eyes covered. Once he left I looked at Aurora who was blushing furiously.

"How was that for being caught?" I teased and she laughed. "How was it?" I whispered as we entered the house and walked to the entrance on the other side of the house.

"He's an amazing kisser, if you hadn't disturbed us, we'd probably still be kissing right now!" she whispered back and I thought it was cute how she was acting 'angry' at me catching them.

"Well my sweet baby Aurora, I will see you on Sunday. Take care," I hugged her as we reached JJ's care and he was packing my bags into his car.

"Call me as soon as you land," she said and wanted to kiss my cheek but I pulled my face back.

"I don't think so, not after what I saw," I said and she glared at me with a smile threatening to break out.

"Bitch!" she shouted and I blew a kiss her way.

"I love you too," I said waving and stopped in front of Chris. "Take care of her while I'm gone, and I don't have to threaten you right?" I said and his eyes shone with humour.

"No, you don't, Miss Adams, safe travels."

"It's Amelia!"

I left him and walked over to JJ who held a door open for me, thanking him silently, I got in and he got in after me and the driver pulled off.

"Ready for Belgium, Ms Adams?" he asked, taking in my appearance before his eyes settled on my face.

"Yes, Mr Daniels."
