Walking through the door of our hotel room, I saw a terrified Shauna shaking on the bed.

"Alex!" She called out, relieved to see me.

"What happened?" I rushed over to her side.

"He was here." She sobbed into my chest.

"Did he do anything?" I growled, rubbing her back trying to calm her down.

"No." She muttered through her tears. "He came to find out where Vi was."

Wiping her tears with my thumb, I tucked her hair behind her ear.

"I told him she was in New York."
