He felt her shoulder tensing and her stomach doing a flip, and he sighed, placing his forehead on the back of her neck. breathing in her scent.

Was that why he was behind her, so she didn't see his face when he spoke those words out in the room? to her ears?

Or was she dreaming?

"Zayne..."

"I know, unbelievable."

She wanted to nod, but she couldn't find her movement.

The voice grew weaker. "I'm a wreck, every flaw you can find, I make the same mistakes all over again," his hand gripped hers, "and I hurt you in more ways than anyone could count."

The side of his face was against her back, and her breath quickened; she felt trapped; she felt confused; he didn't only care... He also... was he okay?

"When I saw you in the truck, Gianna, everything spelled a trap; the next move was to kill you, but I broke it."

It wouldn't do with her back to him, she wanted to see his face when he said it to her, she wanted to find if there was any truth in that eyes.

I hope Gia doesn't leave. He finally told her his feelings. I'm just worried that Axel will kidnap her and have him thinking that she left him. Axel seems to know his every move. There has to be a mole.
