Little hurt

The next seven days had her stuck in her room, glaring at the window time and again, her eyes falling to her ring wrapped around her fingers, reminding her of the hurt.

She cried until she couldn't cry anymore, clutching at her chest, wanting to rip out the damn organ, refusing to heed that it was only needed to get blood out.

When she wasn't by the mirror, she was curled up on the bed, listening to her stomach groan in protest at being the one carrying the load of her heart.

The manor had gone quiet, and day in and day out, she could feel him by her locked door, pleading for her to open up and let him in so they could sort things out.

But she wasn't ready to decide what she was to do yet.

He'd pounded on the door forcefully the first day, yelling at her to understand and listen to his explanations: "Gianna, I didn't do it; I'd never do it. Gianna, I detest that you don't believe I'd never hurt you! Gianna!!"
