He pushed the papers back into their drawers, hoping to clear his desk before he left this workplace; he needed the air of the outside world anyway.

He felt Luca's eyes on him and faced the black orbs, frowning, "What are you looking at?"

Luca shrugged, "Nothing much."

"good. Didn't want to hear anyway."

"You're getting Gretta worried being in this place twenty-four seven," Luca said it anyway, "and you know how she gets when she's worried."

Derinem pushed the last pen into the drawer, shutting it, "she's worried I haven't told her how Damon fares."

"You're overthinking it," Luca sat up straight, knowing he had brought up a sensitive topic; he could see the pain spreading on Derinem's face.

"I know, right," he smiled, taking his fingers through his hair, grabbing the glass again, and heading to the booze; he raised his refilled cup to Luca, "sometimes I know I hide from her; what if she reads on my face what happened to her granddaughter?"

"You have to forgive yourself first, Derinem.

Omg... I still feel this is a trap, set in motion by Anna!! Abby would have called her, not sent a letter!! For being a journalist, Maya doesn't have the common sense that God gave her!!

Why are most of the characters so dumb? Your enemy from day one that promised to deal with you suddenly came back and shade few crocodile tears and invite you out and ya suddenly running out without suspicion to go hangout with them? Maya is so dumb! So very dumb! Her dumbness is pissing me off!
