“What the hell did you do to her?” Thomas walked in shouting, cutting my train of thought.

As usual, she goes running to him like a child every time and he comes running. This was exhausting. It was getting annoying.

“Listen, this is between me and your sister,” I said, rubbing my temple.

“No, Matt. I warned you not to hurt her or make her cry,” he said, reaching for my collar angrily.

“And I told you we shouldn’t lie to her about the entire plan.” I pushed him back. “What do you think she is going to do when she finds out that I wasn't just a friend to Diya?” I whispered.

“I never asked you to fall for her,” he replied. “Are you trying to justify that with me?” he accused.
