Chapter 22

Now that you are less hungry you are ready to continue your journey. 'I need a car,' you tell yourself. 'And money.'

You search the house but come up empty on money. 'Think, think,' you tell yourself. 'Where will I put money if I was a housewife?' You remember how your mother always used to hide money in the washing powder box. "Your dad will never find it here," she chuckled.

"Why are you hiding money from daddy?" you use to inquire.

"Because daddy doesn't believe in rainy days," she would explain.

You make your way to the laundry room and what do you know, there it is, money in a plastic bag amongst the washing powder.

I guess when their rainy day came the lady of the house forgot her stash.

You pocket the money and proceed to search for car keys.

Instead of searching for car keys why not first check if there is a car in the garage?
