Why?

When I was lost in my thoughts staring at the serene view through the glass wall from my floor, I heard the door to my office room open suddenly making my body jerk in surprise reeling my mind back to the present.

Listening to the whistle sound coming from behind followed by the ‘thud’ sound of the door closing, I realized who it was without even looking back.

I sighed in annoyance, “Don’t you have some basic manners to knock?” I said turning around with an annoyed look.

Damon gave me a ‘are you talking to me?’ look and pretended to look around like he was searching for someone else in the room.

“Why are you here?” I asked him rolling my eyes.

Suddenly the door opened again revealing two gentlemen carrying a huge table into the room.

“What’s going on?” I asked to no one in particular in confusion watching them bringing the table while grunting.
