Dad's Duty.

After Seven Years,

I stepped out of the elevator flicking my hair over my shoulder. I walked lazily towards the direction of my office room removing my sunglasses. My secretary, Lydia came running towards me and joined beside me as I kept walking. She offered me my coffee cup but instead of accepting the cup, I pointed to the file on her hand signaling her to hand it over to me.

I opened the file and slowly ran my eyes on the first page of the document inside it as I kept walking towards my room. “This is not what I asked for.” I threw the file on my secretary’s face yelling at her in front of my employees who worked on my floor.

“Get me the right one,” I said with a glare and proceeded to my room as she ran back to her desk. I heard multiple ‘Good mornings’ from my staff as I crossed their cubicles but I ignored it all.
