Chapter 13
I don’t know how long it’s been but Hade made no effort to pull away from me. I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable. If I tell him to fuck off, would he try to kill me again?
“Hade, give him some space.” It was the Beta.
An animalistic growl emerged from Hade that caused me to flinch back. For a second I thought he wasn’t actually human. Well, I guess he isn’t. Something like this is probably a dream come true for most men. However, it’s not as exciting when you’re the only weak human in a pack of wolves. They will shred me to pieces and feed the leftovers to their pups.

Chapter 1 Ah shit, here we go again. I wonder if this is a dream. Everything seems eerily familiar. Chapter 2 His built was quite similar, though slightly bigger than the guard who was keeping an eye on us. His face was rough and sharp with a sleek jaw. He had a high slim nose and I could see the glow from his eyes before he even stood in front of us properly. “Sick contacts dude.” Torin whispered. He was right, they weren’t any ordinary contact lenses, these ones seemed to glow a yellowish golden color. I wasn’t prescribed glasses so I never really considered contacts but even I have to admit that the glow looked pretty cool. At the same time though, it made his face look inhuman and strange. Chapter 3I look over at the girl. There was something about her that captured my attention in a strange way. As much as I tried not to stare too much, I couldn’t help it. It was her eyes. She looked fierce, as if she was ready to pounce on anyone who dared to push her buttons. The dark circles under her eyes and the saggy unbalanced look told me she had been awake for a few days now, trying not to let her guard down.Did she think they would kill her? I’m not surprised. I think Torin and I might meet the same fate as well. I shiver as I remember Alpha’s glowing eyes and eerie smile. What did he mean by 'us making things interesting'? "Wake up" I shivered. "Honey, wake up" I blinked hard, my sight was blinded at first but slowly the room around me started to brighten up. Mom? As embarassing as it was to do this as a 19 year old, I got up from bed in an instant and pulled her into a hug. This was the first time it was so realistic that it made my skin crawl. I calmed down as she hesitantly patted my back. As usual, after school, Torin invited me to play football with him and his friends. I declined. It was often like this. I didn’t want to invade in on their friend group- they had been playing football together since a long time and though I know the basic rules, I am hardly good at it. It would be uncomfortable to suddenly barge in with no experience and make a fool of myself. Instead, I opted to take a swim at the high school swimming pool, where I usually spent an hour or two after the day ended.
