Chapter 1

Jack Lewis was CEO of one of the most successful enterprises in Las Vegas, William Groups and Industries. One year ago, he married Serena Williams. She was the only daughter of Mathew Williams, the Chairman of Williams Industries. Jack and Serena met at a party organized by a common friend. Serena was influenced by Jack's charm only at first sight. Serena was a rich heiress while Jack came from average family background. Seeing Serena showing interest in him, Jack deliberately tried to get closer to her with the hope of getting into a rich family. He invited her to the dance floor to which she happily agreed.

"You are so beautiful," Jack whispered in her ears mischievously.

"Thank you. " Serena replied with a smile.

After all, Serena was not a very beautiful woman, and seeking attention from such a handsome guy was a thing that has never happened to her. She was completely lost in him while dancing with him. They danced for half an hour and had a good chat as well in the meantime. Soon the party came to an end. After that party, Serena and Jack started dating each other.

After a few months, Serena finally arranged for a meeting between Jack and her father. Mathew Williams was not much impressed by their family background of Jack. Jack had only a young brother in his family, who was in Spain for his higher studies. His mother died away while giving birth to his younger brother. After that, his father married another woman with whom he had a daughter. But three years ago, when he just completed his studies his father also passed away. His stepmom shifted to her father's house with her daughter taking away all the savings of his father and leaving the house for Jack and his brother. After that Jack managed his father's store and sent his brother to Spain. As a small store's manager, Jack stood nowhere in Comparison to Matthew Williams. But after seeing how deeply in love was Serena with Jack, he had to agree to their marriage. Since Serena was the only daughter of Mathew Williams, he gifted a big villa to his daughter and future son-in-law.

Their marriage was one of the most high-profile marriages in the city. After that Mathew Williams officially handed over his business to Jack. Jack started handling all the operational activities of the company. Whereas Mathew showed up only in board meetings as the chairman of the company. He was happy seeing Jack operating the business so efficiently as he had always been a part of his company. In a few months, Jack Lewis became a big name in the business world.

Due to his work, he was not able to give much time to his wife, Serena. But she never complained as she knew how much hard work he has to put in to handle such a big business empire. She kept herself busy with friends and socialite parties. Time flew away very quickly. Soon the day came when Jack and Serena held their first wedding anniversary party.

The party was held at the biggest hotel in the city. All the famous people and big businessmen received an invitation to this grand celebration.

At 7 pm, the party started. Jack and Serena entered the hotel hands in hand. Jack was wearing a black retro suit while Serena was wearing a long silver gown. Both of them were complimenting each other in looks.

They walked straight toward Mathew Williams who was already present at the party entertaining the guests on their behalf.

"Congratulations my kids. God bless you both with all the happiness of life," he said happily as he hugged the couple.

"Thank you, Dad," they replied at the same time.

Soon some more guests arrived and they congratulated the couple. After some time the cake-cutting ceremony started. All the people gathered around the cake. Just when the couple was about to cut the cake, a beautiful girl holding a bouquet entered the party and approached Mathew Williams.

"Hello, uncle. I am sorry for being late and disturbing the cake-cutting ceremony," she said feeling embarrassed.

"well I am also sorry because I didn't get who you are? " he said with confusing expressions on his face.

"I am Nichole Fernandez, daughter of Dr. Albert Fernandez and Maria Fernandez. "the girl replied to him.

"Oh my God, so you are Albert's daughter. I have not seen you for a very long time that's why I was unable to recognize you. It's good to see you here. Well, why did your parents not come to this party? "Mathew asked Sarah.

"Dad's health condition is not stable. That's why mom and dad sent me to attend this party. " Nichole replied to him.

"Oh, since that's the case, I don't mind their absence. Come with me. I'll make you meet my daughter and son-in-law ." Mathew said to Sarah.

Sarah nodded as she followed him.

While Sarah was talking to Mathew Williams, Jack's eyes fell upon Nichole. He was mesmerized by her looks. He had never seen such a beautiful woman in his life. Her long curly black hair, dark brown eyes, Snow White glowing skin, cherries like red lips, and perfect figure were driving him crazy. She was wearing a knee-length red dress that was making her appear the hottest girl at the party. From the moment she entered the party, all the eyes were set on her.

Nichole and Mathew walked towards Jack and Serena and approached them from behind as Mathew said to them, "Meet her. She is Nichole Fernandez, daughter of Dr.George Fernandez, the famous neurologist of the city.

"Congratulations Mr.and Mrs. Lewis. "she said as she handed the bouquet to Serena.

"Thank you, Miss Nichole". Serena replied.

For Serena, Nichole was just like the other women at the party. But for Jack, she was a woman with extraordinary beauty. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

From the moment he took the first glance at her, he lost his senses. He was completely dumbfounded as he kept looking at her from head to toe again and again with admiration. Not only her smile but her innocence and purity in her eyes, and her way of talking and walking made him obsessed with her.

After meeting Sarah, Jack couldn't speak a word, until Serena said to him," let's cut the cake."

Jack nodded at her in agreement without saying any word as they walked towards the cake table.

After that, they cut the cake with loud applause from guests. After the cake cutting, Serena expressed her desire to dance as she pointed toward the dance floor with her chin. Jack was not willing to dance with her but he had no reason to reject her so he went ahead with her.

While dancing with Serena, Jack was not leaving any chance to steal a glance at Nichole who was standing alone in a corner holding a glass of wine as she was not familiar with anyone at the party.

Internally, Jack had a strong urge to have a dance with Nichole but he didn't want to arouse the suspicions of people he focused her attention on Serena assuming her as Nichole.
