A new start is merely wishful thinking

On our way to the open state Ashr asked if we should take his ship.

"I'm sure the king is having it monitored. We're better off just doing it on our own, besides I'm certain that there are abandoned mounds there since the Demirkan don't do well in the snow," I chuckled softly. Ashr looked horrified.

"I will surely freeze to death Zax," he mumbled softly and I told him I'd personally keep him warm.

"It's April anyway, you have several more months until winter hits ya big baby lizard," I teased him and he glared at me. He simply said,"cold blooded." We continued heading north through the Nevada desert and up into Idaho going through my old home of Yellowstone. Ashr glanced around and grinned.

"I remember this place. I found a fantastic gift here," he mumbled softly and I cocked my brow at him.
