Chapter 3

Zain's alarm began to blare into his ears, sending him on alert at once in his sitting position. His eyes felt heavy and his head was badly aching, as the realization settled into his head. Obviously, the reason for his terrible body ache was because he'd slept on his study chair again. Fuck! Looks like it's gonna be a sour day at school.

Zain quickly got up and rushed to his bathroom to prepare for school. As a prefect, he needed to always get to school before 7:30am in other to catch and punish those latecomers sneaking their ways through the back fences.

Within the next fifteen minutes, Zain brushed his teeth, showered and dressed up in his blue trouser and white shirt uniform. He grabbed his backpack and bike keys before he hurried downstairs and advanced into the dining area.

"Good morning Zain." Samantha greeted with a warm smile as she placed the flask on the large dining table neatly set for breakfast. "Breakfast is ready, I hope you'll like what I prepared for you." It was her first morning, sleeping at her workplace where she'd usually come to clean the house and cook, her working hours mostly between 11am to 7pm. She hardly cross paths with Zain because the house was a very big mansion.

"Hey Samantha." Zain casually responded as he set his eyes on the different dishes set on table. It seemed like this woman doesn't know that he eats his breakfast at the school cafeteria from Mondays-Wednesdays — his duty days. Even though the delicious smell of the friend eggs were tempting him and the potatoes look so good, Zain didn't waste a minute before making his decision. "Don't bother to prepare breakfast for me tomorrow. I have duty days, from Mondays to Wednesdays and I eat at the cafeteria on those certain days. You can have that for yourself." He added as he proceeded to the refrigerator and grabbed two apples and a bottle water.

Samantha felt a little bit confused at Zain's refusal to eat. She wondered if the young master disliked what was prepared for him. She thought the young Madam had once told her that Zain liked sweet potatoes? Or is something wrong with her memory?

Zain moved out of the dining to the sitting room. He picked his bikers helmet which he left on the shelf the previous day before he hurriedly exit the main door.

"Sasha. . . You don't have much time left. Its almost 7:30." Sasha's mother kept knocking hard on the bathroom door.

Door instantly opened and Sasha walked out wearing her rough school uniform shirt and skirt. "You were the one who made me ate all that sweet potatoes. Now my stomach has gone bad." She pouted at her Mom who stood speechless, staring at her uniform. "I'm leaving right now. See you later, Mom." She hurriedly kissed her mom on the cheeks and began to rush out before her Mom would nag at her.

"Your hair. . . Come back here let me brush it for you Sasha!" Her mom called out but Sasha quickly picked her sandal, backpack and ran out through the kitchen exit, leaving her Mom yelling.

Sasha ran down the street and caught up with the bus, though she still ended up arriving very late to Ravenwood high school. Her wristwatch showed it was already 8:07am. Last week when she came late, she remembered seeing some students sneaking through the back fence. The idea wasn't a good one but Sasha felt the need to do anything to avoid the seniors and get to her class. She hurried towards the back to try her own luck.

"You sure you wanna do that?" A nerd looking student with large round glasses said to Sasha, his voice sounding like he was a little bit nervous about the idea.

"Just this once. You should sneak your way in if you can. I'm going to give it a try." She stepped on the stones which were used by students to reach over to the wall. With laborious breathing, she barely made it over and jumped down the fence in a perfect ninja assassin pose. She looked around to make sure she was safe before she began to dust off her skirt and ready herself to class.

"Welcome to Ravenwood high." A gruff, male voice struck Sasha's ears out of nowhere. And  almost immediately, Zain Centineo walked out from the building on the left side of the fence. It seemed like he hid himself well to make a good catch. He stood arms crossed as he menacingly gaze at Sasha. That was brave but stupid, he thought, admitting to her courage and stupidity at the same time. The chick has not learned her lessons after all. She's not as fragile as she'd feigned to be yesterday to be able to jump down from such a high fence. That means she could endure stage two of his punishment.

"G-Good M-Morning, Sir." Sasha stuttered as she froze in her stance, fully aware that her greetings wouldn't do anything to save her from Lord hedgehog, but she needed to greet him or the punishment might be doubled. Now she has an idea about what that nerdy student meant by 'you sure you wanna do that?' Idiot boy. He could've come straightforward to save her from this trouble.

"Come here. . ." Zain raised a finger and called Sasha like a puppy. "Join your fellows behind block F. You can run away if you wish to." He ordered with sarcasm dripping down his lips, as Sasha slowly began to drag her cold feet away. "I don't have to fucking warn you to speed off do I?" Zain was now running out of patience for the chick's sluggishness. He couldn't stop himself from barking in annoyance.

The school premises was still new to Sasha. It has only been two weeks and a day after her transfer to this school. She felt a little temptation to request for a proper direction of the block F but when she glanced at Zain's face, the potatoes she ate suddenly began to rebel against her belly. Twisting and churning, her stomach was in chaos and Sasha felt a sudden desperateness and urgency to have a bowel movement.

"S-sir. . . I urgently need to use the restroom."

Zain roughly looked back at Sasha with a warning look. Who the fuck was she talking to? "Get lost before you annoy me. Did I give you any option to chose?"

Oh oh. Sasha figured out that her stool could start leaking out of her at any moment from now. This wasn't the right time for her to start negotiating with a devil. He could go on and boil her alive on judgement day.

Sasha took to her feet and ran away.
