Chapter 13

Back in the small quarantine room, Zain felt so bored of staying in there alone. He felt like he has been thrown into a cold prison. He was neither an internet geek nor a fan of social media to be able to enjoy pressing into his smartphone. Also, the thoughts of what that Doctor said about them staying longer in quarantine was quite infuriating. He couldn't imagine his life getting stuck with Samantha's daughter.

He kept pacing to and fro in the room, his thoughts spiraling in different unspeakable directions — yet he couldn't stop himself from wondering what that Samantha's daughter might be doing in her other side of the room. It's been more than an hour, but he hasn't heard any noises coming from her direction. He was damn curious to know what the girl was doing.

Zain walked to the glass barrier, pushed the door open and abruptly entered.
