Anna's POV

Nicholas finally sighed deeply. He howled loudly and his wolf hair appeared on his body, it seemed like he was about to shift with his eyes glowing

Knowing how bad that could be, I took the book from him and rubbed his chest to calm him down. Despite calming down, he kept thumping his feet on the ground while the whole chamber kept shaking.

"Just take it easy, Nick!" I appeased him as his long, deep breaths were not just scary to me, they also made me worry.

After a while, he looked down into my eyes and murmured for a while before his voice became audible.

"I promise you, you are never going to die. Nothing can take you away from me, not even death." He hurried away to the bedside.

As he was now calm, I took the opportunity to grab Daisy's diary to read through and know why he was so enraged.
