Chapter eight
I tried to quickly cover up my frown with a smile.
"Oh, please give up the fake look stuff. I know you ain't happy to see me but as usual I'm still happy to see you." I opened my mouth to respond when my mom called.
"Andy! Who’s at the door?"
"It’s-" she cut me off and yanked the door open.
"Sisterrrrr!! I'm herrrrrreeeeeee!!!" She screamed running to were my mom was. She immediately squished my mom in her death grip occasionally lifting her. When she had enough she let go and grinned happily. My mom couldn't help but reciprocate her happiness after all, they are sisters.
"Danny! When did you get here? Why didn't you tell me you were coming? God! I missed you so much! Did you grow taller? You look amazing by the way." Mom ranted on and on.

Andy's POV The cold wind whisked and whistled past Summer and I as I escorted her home. Danny offered to drive her home but Summer and I both declined. Most of this night was spent with family and Danny's hilarious stories but Summer and I agreed that we needed some alone time together. A smile found its way to my lips when she declined and instead asked me to walk with her. Summers house was about forty-five minutes away giving us enough time to talk and bond. Ronnie's POVDo you know that feeling of content and utter fullness you feel when something good happens to you? That's the feeling I woke up with. Let me list a couple examples if I lost you. So, maybe you had a crazy dream about a food combination that you want to try but at that particular moment you can't (for various reasons). As if instinct you feel empty and incomplete cause you haven't answered that great calling. The moment you actually do it and it actually tastes amazing you feel something right? You feel something other than happiness, something way better. You feel accomplished and supreme like a businessman making great sales. Eish! Did I just think that? Ughh Dad's getting to me. Ronnie's p.o.vI was very excited to go outside. It has been over two months since I left the house and even though I love home I really need to leave its premises. It has felt like a prison even though Dad tried to make it better. The fact that it was just the two of us in this big house sorta rubbed in the fact that I was trapped. When dad went out and left me behind I was so sure he'd find me dead or something. I excitedly ran down the stairs, mom's scolding about running were safely locked at the back of my mind. I quickly grabbed my bag and headed out. I was quickly hit by not salty fresh air. It was hot and the sun shined with vigour, blistering and forcefully heating anything it touched. It all happened so fast. She dropped me off, kissed my forehead goodnight then backed out of the drive way. One minute she was waving and screaming how much she loves me and the next minute another car collided with hers. I was stiff with shock, I couldn’t move or think or act. A nurse was in the room adjusting something I couldn't see because her back was facing me. As she moved around I got to see short glimpses of Ronnie. She weakly laid on the hospital bed as the nurse kept doing whatever she was doing. Ronnie had a bandage on her head and left leg, a cast on her left hand and bruises that spread all over her body and face. She looked thinner despite me not getting a good view of her yet. As if she knew what I was thinking, the nurse quickly finished what she was doing and turned to leave. She gave me a quick and gentle smile before she left the room and closed the door.
