The next morning. After the whole Corey episode, both my parents were still paranoid.

I came downstairs for breakfast. Mom walks out of the kitchen holding a bowl of hot soup. However, the second a bang on the door came.

She unnerves and accidentally sent the entire soup to the ground.

Out of fear.

"Mom?". I called staring at her facial expression.

She faced the door and ran over to meet dad.

Dad looks at me, "dear, can you go check who's at the door?". He whispered to me.

"Seriously!", I said back.

"Please baby, huh!". Said mom, holding unto dad's favorite polo shirt.

"Fine, let me go check,". I inhaled and said.

I stood up from my chair, navigating towards the front door.

I came closer and yelled.

"Who is it?". . I faced my parents for a while, they were both freaked out of their minds, when a familiar voice yelled right back.

"Muna! Get the door open, please,".. Sara, my best friend, said.

Upon hearing her voice, my parents calmed down, I did too.

Even though I didn't quite show it.

What if it had been Corey? I don't know what I would have done.

I opened the door and met her standing outward.

"Hey! Why are you here so early?". I said.

"What, have you forgotten that today is the annual prep rally for the football season coming up,". Sara says, making owling noises.

People passing through looked as she continued.

"Hey, can you stop embarrassing me?" I said as I dragged her inside.

Sara laughed, she meets my parents.

"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Daniels?," She greeted walking behind me...

Mom was busy cleaning up the spilled soup on the ground, whereas dad had other things.

But they did respond to her greetings.

"Sara, wait for me, I'll be down in a minute,".I said, running up to my bedroom.

I went inside to pick up my bag, I had my phone charging and I grabbed that also, finally leaving the room.

"Bye mom and dad, I'm off to college,". I yelled, hurrying past them.

Dad turns to me, "hold on dear, don't you want to at least have something to eat?". He says.

I moved around and stared at the table.

Is there anything available for me? After all, mom had the entire bowl of soup, down on the ground.

Just because she panicked...

"No dad, I'll be fine,". I said and looked at mom as I walked out the door.

Sara and I got into the cab she bought with her to take us to college.

Outside, we saw everywhere crowded.

"What's going on?". Sara asked, I heard her but didn't speak because I had no idea also...

We got into tht halls.

While moving towards our lecture hall, we noticed students running directly to the cafeteria.

"This is strange, what is going on there?".

Sara held my hand, "let's go check it out,". She said.

"I. Don't know,". I said, being a lot hesitant to know.

However Sara didn't budge, she grabbed my hand and hurriedly ran into the cafeteria, the same way the other students rush in.
