Lotus POV

I woke up in the morning with the chirping sound of birds on my window and sunlight hitting my eyes. A mild smell of chocolate pancakes hit my nose and my stomach started growling. My grandma makes the best pancakes in the world. I heard my grandpa calling me for breakfast and knocking on my door to wake me up. coming grandpa... I ran into the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair and went down to the kitchen. My grandparents are sitting on dinning stools waiting for me. They are the best couple I have ever seen. so much in love with each other. They both greet me with a good morning and kiss my forehead.

So lotus did you get any responses from the business schools you applied to asked my grandpa.

hmmmm... actually grandpaa I have got a response from some colleges already but I am waiting for the response from Walls academy as it is the best business school around. If I get selected in Walls academy I will also get a full scholarship for my freshman year and also further based on my scores which won't be a problem as I have been an A+ plus student all my life.

After my parents passed away in a car accident. My grandparents have taken my responsibility. They have always provided the best possible. Now I cannot burden them with my college fees as well.They have already did so much for me and almost emptied their savings.

I work part time in a small cafe in my town but the salary I get is very less and is enough for my personal expenses. That is the reason I want to go to the best business school and study hard then get a good job and take care of my grandparents.

I went upstairs to get ready and go to the cafe where I work.

Bye grandma bye grandpa I am going to a cafe for work ........ I heard them greeting me back faintly as I am already outside of main door and walking towards cafe.

I reached cafe and my best friend Stacy greet me loudly with a hello...

Stacy brother owns this Cafe so she is here most of the time to help her brother. She is the one who referred me for this job. I work here as waiteress. This Cafe is has one of the best coffee and crossoints in the town.

As I turn the cafe board to open crowd started coming in and I started taking their orders one by one.

I went in the kitchen to place the orders to chef and my phone chimmed. I went to see the email and it was form Walls Academy of business.

The emails goes as

Hello Miss Lotus.

we are pleased to inform you that you have been selected with a full scholarship for freshman year. Your classes will start form coming Monday please register your self with hostel and classes before that.
