SATURDAY:: 7:45PM Cynthia rushed with all she was doing. She grabbed her purse, heading out of the room. She ran through to the stairs but held the handle from falling. Mrs Sotomayor was returning from the kitchen with a glass of lemon juice in her hand, she looked surprised to see how hurriedly Cynthia was. "Cynthia, are you alright?" She asked. "Oh yes, mother, of course, I am. " She answered. She adjusted her gown and dressed her hair, standing before her mother. "How do I look, mom?" She asked. "Well, you look like you're going out on a date." She said, admiring her from head to toe. "Are you going out on a date?" She asked. " Yes." " Wow! With who? " " With Sonia. " The smile on Mrs Sotomayor's face immediately faded. " Yes, she said she wants us to have this sister's night together. You know, it's been a long time since we had a good time together. " She said, sounding convincing. " Well, that is a good idea. But, I have never heard sisters do go out on a date.
" Dad, mom, I want to introduce to you guys my friend, Alexandra Lincoln. He's the guy I told you about." Cynthia said, staring at their faces for any reaction. " Seriously? Oh my goodness, it's good to see you, Alexandra Lincoln." Mrs Sotomayor welcomed. Cynthia sighed in relief, she had thought her mother would yell. She looked at her father, she was expecting a response from him. " Finally, another daughter of mine will be getting married." He said with a smile. Cynthia exchanges glances with Alex. "How did you two meet?" Asked Mr Richard. " Last week, I went to the pizza store and then boom, we jammed each other. That's how we met." " Have you two hanged out before like, dinner or date? Something like that. " Mrs Sotomayor added. " Yeah, we had dinner last week Saturday." She replied. " I don't remember you going out on a dinner last week Saturday. Or. . ." She paused. " Hold on, you never had dinner with Sonia, did you?" She queried. Cynthia chuckled. " Honestl
Sonia was so surprised to see Alex officially. He looks familiar to her, but she can't remember where they had met. Alex was fully sure he had seen her face before, but he never knew she was the CEO of the SS bridal brand. " Let me guess, we must have met at the CEO conference meeting weeks ago." He guessed right. Sonia seems to remember now. " Yeah. Yeah, you're right, that's exactly where we met." " You guys have met before?" Cynthia asked. " Yes. But then, we didn't notice each other. Well, that's because we were both busy to notice each other." Sonia said, sipping on her wine. " Well, it's nice to meet you, Alex." " You too, Sonia." " So, let me introduce to you guys my boyfriend, Luci. And Luci, this is my sister, Cynthia and her fiance." She introduced. Luci shaked hands with Alex. " Nice meeting you, Alex." " You too, Luci." " So, I wanna say a big thank you to you guys for showing up today. You never break my heart." She said, referring to Sonia. Sonia s
SONIA ? I sat in my office, admiring the diamond ring in my hand. The night where Luci had proposed to me reflects in my mind, and honestly, I just can't wait to get married to him. * I was finally back to my own home. I had told Luci the previous night that I needed to work on something very important which would need me to go home. I thought he'd vex I was leaving but just as usual, he did understand me. I dropped my bag and stuff in my room, and I headed to the kitchen to get a glass of water. One of the maids came to help me out but I decided to do so myself. " You sure you don't want me to fetch a glass of water for you, ma'am? " She asked. " Yeah, don't worry." She left while I went ahead pouring myself a cold glass of water. I gulped it all at once, pouring myself another glass of water. This time, I sipped it, like I was trying to be careful not to let it go in the wrong direction. I heard the sound of whispering voices, it was coming from my sitting room. "
I could barely see where I was going as the headache seemed to be growing. I could feel the sides of my head hitting like stones tumbling against each other. I pushed the door open, not minding if it breaks or anything, right now I just needed a drug to calm this hell shit down. I dizzily walk to the sofa, throwing myself against it. The next thing, I was hearing voices and calling for help from my maids who had already surrounded me. Suddenly, I couldn't hear anything. Their voices began to fade, I felt like the world was coming to an end, or maybe it was my life that was coming to an end. And everything went black. IN SONIA'S HEAD (WRITER ?) " We have a problem, Sir." Announced his guard who just walked in. He knelt with one foot, his hand resting on the other. " What problem is it? " He asked. " It's the girl. The human girl." Replied the guard. Sonia sluggishly opened her eyes to see herself in a dark environment. The light which illuminated the house was from the
WRITER ? She quickly rushed to the car, starting the engine but it refused to respond. She tried it again and again and the shit wasn't responding. She looked back to see the storm at great speed approaching towards her direction. "Fu*king start, asshole!" She cursed, hitting her fist hard on the steering wheel. " Start!" And the car started. She pushed the gear at five, matching on the acceleration paddle and at great speed she zoomed off from the hill top but the wind still came after her. " What do you want from me?!" She cried. " Why do you come after me?" She looked through the rear view mirror to see if the storm was coming closer. It was only a few miles to her, Sonia made a left turn. She decided to call Luci. One hand held the steering wheel while the other searched for her phone in her bag. Out of fear and tension, she couldn't find her phone. And again, her eyes went to the rearview mirror to see the storm wind was now close to her car. It hits her car, cau
Cynthia finally came to visit her. She was ready to talk about her previous conversation with Sonia, but this time, she wanted it face to face. She messaged Cynthia for them to meet at a coffee shop. AT THE COFFEE SHOP** "So, I wanna get something straight about what you told me, you mean the Master did show you to hell?" Cynthia asked, surprised. " Yes, he did and I don't know why. " Cynthia sighed. " How does it look like again?" She asked. " I mean hell." " Well, it looks more beautiful than you can ever imagine. You know I've always thought hell is like a burning furnace, you know, just like the church always calls it. But what I saw was totally different from what I thought. " She sipped on her coffee. " It's still surprising that he'd come for you after so many days of making his bargain. I really pity Luci, after everything he's done for you and the moments you two shared, it's gonna be tough to let go." "That's what keeps bothering me. I don't wanna imagine ho
"Miss Sotomayor, you are pregnant." My eyes flew open as my head was still trying to analyze the statement. "Congratulations." He said. I remembered the day Luci and I had our first... S*X. I can't believe I was seeing the real effect now. So... I am pregnant? I am carrying Luci's baby? I scoffed, chuckling as I rubbed my hands on my stomach. I chuckled again. "Luci, I'm carrying our child. . . your child? You just don't know how happy I am right now." I said as if he was standing right with me. I'm carrying his child. And it's so unfair to let our child grow to become fatherless all because of the master. I sighed. "So," I started, staring at the Doctor. "What do you think about the symptoms and my child? Will I lose my baby if it gets worse?" I asked. "Of course not. The symptoms have nothing to do with your child, it's just a natural sign, that's all. Don't get too scared about it, okay?" It reassured me. " But at least I'll need some drugs to calm the headache down, r
