  Sonia noticed how silent Dorcas had become, she looked at him and she noticed he was deep in thought.

  "Dorcas?" She called. "Dorcas?" She called again, flicking her fingers at him.

  He blinked, moving his gaze at her. "Yes?" He answered.

  "You look lost." She said, "What were you thinking?" She asked.

  Dorcas thought of what to say and avoided his mother from finding out about the maid. Thankfully, she isn't a demon who can read minds.

  "Nothing." He lied.

  "Nothing?" She repeated. "But you looked lost for nothing."

  "I was thinking. . ."

  "Thinking about what?" She asked sharply. "A woman? Have you found one already? Are you in love?" She asked inquisitively.

  She remembered back then when she first met Luci, how he took charge of her conscience and she has never thought straight without him getting involved. He was the only one who made her lost in the Pacific, imagining events that happened and are yet to happen.
