Chapter 3

At the Alpha Chambers, All the elders and the Beta gather together. Everyone is seen with an Angry face and The Alpha slowly walks in, to take his seat as everyone looks at him. He looked at the lady who in question was the thief as they all said lying helplessly on the floor and suddenly he felt this Aura again.

His nostrils is filled with the Tempting vanilla scent from her, the scent he could not resist fill his nostril and he could not object to it, he allow this beautiful scent to fill him up and the desire to be with her hit him so hard as he tries his possible best to control himself and also he tries to make sure no one noticed this, not now and not at all.

Everyone murmured as to why the Alpha remained quiet and was not ready to say anything, Beta Austin look at his Alpha and wonder while his eyes are fixed on this slave who lay helplessly on the floor, he take a good look at Alpha Jordan and then back to the slave and with the look of things he noticed how soft and heartbroken Alpha Jordan is, just by looking at her and the pain she is feeling.

"Where is Lydia "Alpha Jordan finally speaks, everyone turns to look around and they all notice that Lydia is not there.

"Go get her immediately'' Alpha Jordan ordered as one of the wolf warriors bowed to him and ran out of his chambers.

Alpha Jordan maintains silence as he looks at The lady who kept looking back at him, he wonders why she never for once cried out or begged for mercy from them even when they beat her up mercilessly.

Lydia walked into the Alpha chambers as she now greeted the Alpha and the elders who stared blankly at her. While some admire her curvy shape and her Flashy smile, some look at her sternly.

"What do you say happened again, "Alpha Jordan asked, with more interest even when his mind doubted the fact she is not capable of stealing from his chambers as he had never seen this face before, he wondered why he had never met with her before.

"Alpha Jordan, it was reported to me that some food item got missing from your chambers and everyone agreed to see her go to your chambers as she was the only one who was present at that time"Lydia explained to the Alpha whose gazes was still on Cora who was looking at Lydia with hatred in her eyes.

"And you, did you have anything to say about this ?"Alpha Jordan questions the girl.

"I repeat I do not steal and I have never been to your chamber before "She replied boldly, as she crushed her hands to her chest in a way to suppress the pain she was feeling.

"She is just a slave, and her words do not matter. She should be sentenced to death for stealing from the Alpha chambers"One of the elders suggested, with anger that rushed through his veins.

"Only the Alpha has the right to make such decisions"Beta Austin shifted in, as he was not ready to leave the Alpha in a tight position and then decide what will favor the pack by displeasing himself.

Alpha Jordan looks at Austin and wonders why he suddenly chooses to side with him even when he hates anyone who is not from their pack, especially the slave.

"Sentence to death, really for a crime I had nothing to do with, is this how judgment is made here "Cora questions boldly as she is no longer afraid of what might happen to her, she is already tired of all the injustice done to her.

She is ready to die and that is if death finds its way to her, she will gladly accept it as she will be free from all the torture and pain she had to pass through from this ruthless pack.

Alpha Jordan looked at her and how she spoke with confidence even when she was in so. much pain makes him wonder how bold she was, in front of the Ruthless Alpha everyone feared especially the slave makes him wonder if she never heard about him before.

"She even has the guts to question us, how dare she ?"The Angry elder who wanted her death claimed.

Everyone murmurs and says different things. Alpha Jordan stares at his beta for some approval, and then they both stare at each other as they turn to the Angry Elders.

"for Stealing from me, you will be punished greatly and for refusing to admit to the crime you will weep till you are agreed to it also you need to Apologize to Lydia for all the drama you cause her "Alpha Jordan declared, Cora looked at him with hatred and then turn to the people, she was never going to admit to what she has nothing to do with and she will never apologize to Lydia for dragging her name.

Lydia was happy at the fact that Alpha Jordan was able to make the right decision without questioning her more, for some reason she was scared that she would be caught and might be questioned by the Alpha. She was also happy that Cora would be punished severely.

Everyone turned to leave the chambers after hearing the judgment and the punishment that was given to her.

"Leave us for a few minutes" Alpha Jordan ordered just when they were about to take her away, Cora looked at him in surprise.

She seems drawn to him all of a sudden and she wonders why she was drawn to him

"How long have you been in this pack?"Alpha Jordan questions with his Authoritative voice.

"long enough, since I was bought and brought here, perhaps 5 years now"She answer nonchalantly

As Alpha Jordan wonders why he hasn't seen her before, his mate has been here for over 5 years and he couldn't sense it.
