CHAPTER 1

"MS. MONDEMOR!"

I opened my eyes and lazily raised my hands.

"PRESENT" I yawned

"DETENTION ROOM...NOW!" she angrily shouted.

I looked at her calmly, asking for the reason why she's sending me to the DR. I haven't done anything wrong; I just closed my eyes.

"Natutulog ka na naman sa klase ko. Gaano ka ba katalino para hindi ka makinig sa itinuturo ko?"

"With all due of respect ma'am, I am not sleeping. I'm just resting my eyes. That's two different objectives. And if you don't know that...then sit here and let me replace you there."

"Aba't- Bastos kang bata ka. Hindi ka na natututong rumespeto. Kung wala ka lang kapit dito, matagal ka ng pinatalsik." she screamed glaring at me.

"Oh, okay? You know what, we don't really have a problem here. How about you continue your discussion and don't effi'n mind me, cause I can ace all the exams. Right? Like-" I snapped my fingers three times. Minding as *what's not clicking baby.

She took a deep breath then set me an eye peircing glare.

"Okay, let's have a deal. I will question you something about the discussion and if you get the correct answer, then I won't ever spare a glance at you when you're "resting", if that's what you call it."

"COOL! Pipe it out!"

"Sige. First, hmm...Tell me the difference between E-commerce and Traditional Commerce?" she meaningfully smiled

"Huh? Diba hindi pa nya yan nadidiscuss" a girl in front of me whispered, that I clearly heard.

"Oo nga. Parang ano si ma'am. Muntanga rin naman tong si Sky."

I rolled my eyes on what she called me. Sky? Seriously? We're not even close.

"Oh? Ano hindi mo alam?" I looked back to the teacher then smirked. She really is challenging me. tsk.

"Traditional Commerce is mainly dependent on exchanging information from one person to another, whereas E-commerce has very less dependency on the same. In traditional commerce, transactions or communication are done synchronously. It means manual intervention is required for any communication or transaction, but in e-commerce, transactions or communications can be done asynchronously. Should I expound it ma'am?" I sarcastically smirked.

"Ha! Memorization...Anong silbe nyan kung hindi mo maintindihan."

Gosh! This stupidity is killing me.

I smirked then laughed evilly.

"Don't tell me you don't understand it? It's just a basic English. Don't point out to me your idiocy for not understanding it. Well let me translate it to you, in Tagalog. Got it?" I sarcastically said with an accent. They're lucky, they heard me speaking in Tagalog, though it isn't really a big deal. But I always find myself comfortable speaking in English.

She angrily sigh, accepting her defeat.

"Let's proceed class-"

I rolled my eyes, then looked outside the window.

After a while, the ring bells. All of my classmates went out still murmuring of the things that happened between me and that teacher.

I also went out with my bag and bought myself some snack in the cafeteria.

"A piece of mango graham and a bottle of orange juice please." I politely asked to the cashier, punching my order.

I was about to pay for it when a card showed up handing it to the cashier. I thought he was paying for himself, so I didn't mind.

"I will pay for the beautiful lady." he exclaimed

I still didn't paid any attention to him, cause I don't know anyone here and I don't care. I have no friends so I don't expect anything from him. Waiting patiently for my order, I handed my black card when my orders came up.

"Pero nabayaran na po ito ma'am." the cashier abruptly said.

I looked at her like she's saying ridiculously.

"Just charge my order here." I handed her my card not minding what she said

"Hindi na nga po pwede ma'am. Nabayaran na nga." she's smiling but you can see the hint of irritation in her voice.

"Look here missy. I have money and I don't think I am stupid enough to ask someone to pay for me when I can. Whoever paid for my order is none of my business, cause I will pay for myself. Just give that money back to whoever that person is... I don't need it. Charge here or see yourself out of the campus." I said irritatedly, while handing her my card. Damn. I'm hungry man.

"Woah, there hotty! Take it easy! Just accept it... I'm just being nice." A jerk of face speak to me. I looked at him uninterestedly and smirked.

"No, thank you! I have money." I said blankly

"Oh common! Wag ka ng pakipot Ms. Mondemor." he insisted trying to hold my hand.

"Hey there ass face, listen...if you're trying to hit on me then that doesn't work. Go jerk your face off." I backfired shoving him away.

He looked embarrassed "Yabang mo ahh. Maganda ka ba?"

"Damn, stupid boy...The fact that you paid for my orders means you're interested in me, and you even know my last name pretty good. How does that doesn't count? Gosh! Does rejection really does that bad to you, getting an amnesia real quick?" Checking if it's already charge in my card, I get it in the cashier's hand and find myself a comfortable table.

Eating and minding my business, a group of girls stormed in front of me.

"Hoi! Ang kapal mo para ipahiya si Keyless ah. Kahit may kapit ka dito sa school hindi ka parin namin uurungan." A froggy voice shouted

"Hoi! tumingin ka sa akin pag kinakausap kita." I didn't bothered looking at her, my name's not HOI'.

"Ano ba? Sabing tumingin ka sa akin eh. Ayaw mo ah." She was about to get my juice when I stood up and got it first. I looked at her...drank the juice then wipe of some stain with the table napkin.

"Pity." I calmly said, looking at her eyes.

"Sino ka ba sa akala mo? Papansin ka ah, ang kapal ng mukha mo."

"You really have the guts to say that, when you're the one who wail nonsense in front of me." I calmly said while continued eating.

"I'm not wailing."

"Oh! Pardon me. With a voice like that, who would ever thought. "

She glared at me and grabbed the coffee on the other table...then poured it to me that I avoided.

"Tsk. Nothing new. Just old useless move. Pathetic!" I insulted her

She walked towards me and tried to scratch me with her fingers, but I pushed her to her pity mates. She stumbled on the ground looking funny.

"Tsk. " I only said... rolling my eyes then stormed out of the cafeteria not minding the stares they locked on me.

"Arghhh! Hindi pa tayo tapos." she shouted that I didn't mind.

"tsk. Walang tayo noh. feeling... duh!" I muttered

I walked towards the garden, not looking ahead... when someone bumped me or should I say I bumped him. Luckily, I didn't stumbled and just gain my balance. Damn. Cliche. I didn't mind him and his company, then just continued walking.

"CAN I EVEN GET A SORRY?" he exclaimed but I just raised my hands not looking back and wave a bit.

I settled myself in a trunk of a big tree.

"Can this day give me a little peace?" I unconsciously said while dozing off to sleep.

A ring of the bell woke me up from my slumber. It's already time for my last subject. It's also the schedule of my defense, so I walked towards the assigned room. Luckily the judge is not yet there. When it's my turn, I didn't feel any nervousness in me. I'm just calm, so that the thoughts will appear in my mind without any pressure. As a result, I passed my defense.

I looked at my watch and saw that it's already 5pm. It's starting to get dark so I went to the parking lot. I drove my Bugatti La Voiture Noire then went to our bar for a celebration. I hate loud noise so I entered the club using the backdoor and head to my soundproof office. I get a bottle of beer then drink it. After finishing the bottle, i started getting dizzy...perks of having a low alcohol tolerance. I head to my condo unit to rest, I can still drive though. Since 15 I already started being independent, and my parents are okay for that...they support me on my dreams as long as they find it the best for me. I always visited them on Sunday, it's our family day...means no work, or other businesses aside from family.

I arrived...patiently waiting for the elevator to open then pressed my floor. As it was about to close, a hand made its way to block the doors then went in. He's wearing the same uniform of the boys in my school, but I don't care as long as he doesn't talk to me. He was about to press his floor when I think he noticed that I pressed the top floor. I think he got the room next mine, cause there were only 2 rooms in there. I felt his gaze but I didn't mind it. I'm really dizzy. I don't know what happened after, but when I woke up... I find myself wrapped in a blanket with chains all over me. I should be shouting now but I am lazy to do it. I got up... still wrapped with the blanket and the chain, then find my way out. The door in the room is open as well as the front door, so I jump like a bunny to head out. I saw a maid chamber going to my room so I called her. She manage to ask someone to help me out so I freed myself. I don't remember what happened, but since I'm okay, I didn't bothered recalling and investigating.

I am going to call my mom, when I noticed that my bag is not in my room. I remembered not bringing anything yesterday when I went in the elevator. I must've left it in the car. After the elevator scene,I really couldn't remember anything. I just acted like nothing happened and didn't mind it. I went down and get my bag, then when I came back I sat on my couch... put my bag on the table then after a while went to the kitchen to cook for myself. It's been already 5years since I moved out from our house, so I am really used of cooking. I just prepared a tuna sandwich.

After eating I took a bath then proceed to painting. This is my hobby that my parents also supported. They really wanted me to take up Fine Arts, but I settled myself in Business Management for future purposes, since I am their only heiress. They understand me but still specialized me an art room here in my condominium, and in the main house. I really love them... they're the best parents that's been given in to me.

As I was about to start painting the notification of my phone suddenly ring. I noticed an unknown number and abruptly opened it accidentally when my phone slipped.

From: Unknown Number

The symbol of the Atomic number 1 and 53.

Accompanied with the symbol of 1,8,74,18, and 92.

I knitted my forehead and didn't mind it. I was about to place it back on my table, when there's another notification popped.

From: Unknown Number

Being near you gives me a feeling similar to that of having a rhinovirus. I can’t catch my breath around you.

This person is surely Cheese with the Atomic number 39 Yttrium. Interesting...but not my type.

A ring again echoed and the familiar number appeared.

From: Unknown Number

Combine Beryllium, Gold and Titanium together and we get you—a mesmerizing Be-Au-Ti!

I chuckled mischievously...and replied.

To: Unknown Number

Combined Flourine, Uranium, Carbon, and Potassium, with the hint of Oxygen, and Flourine semi-annually raised to the power, then we got you a F-U-C-K O-F-F.

After a minute he didn't respond, so I think he finally get that I don't wanna talk to him. So I was about to turn my phone off when a call popped. I thought it was that unknown, but when I saw the familiar name...I feel delighted.

(Hi mommy!) a tiny voice welcomed me

"Hello popcorn...How are you doing?"

(I'm doing fine mommy. Dada and mama baked some cookies.)

"Did you gave dada and mama a headache?"

(Mommy, no po. I am a good girl hehehe) she chuckled cutely

"Really?"

(Yes po)

"Why did you call popcorn?"

(Dada and mama said that you should come over. It's Sunday naman po daw tomorrow. Sleepover mommy...pretty please.)

"Haha alright...alright popcorn. I'll be coming over. Behave yourself hmm. See you in a bit. 721"

(Hehe I'm so excited. See you mommy 831.)

I hanged up then went out wearing a high waist short, a pair of slippers and a bottoned cardigan. When I opened my door, a man also came out to the other room. Our gazes met but I looked away to lock my door. Though we met each last night, and I think he's the one who wrapped me with the blanket, I still don't know him... so I didn't bothered greeting him.

"Hey!" He suddenly spoke

I looked at him then nod. I won't spare him a glance if we're not the only person here, but since there's just the two of us...then I think he's talking to me.

He smiled while I just stared at him blankly. He's blocking my way, so I cannot pass... He's just staring at me with a grin. Crazy.

"Uh! Excuse me?" his grin becomes bigger.

"Yes?" he excitedly exclaimed like he was expecting something.

"You're blocking my way...so excuse me."

"Ah! haha there you go." he awkwardly laughed with a hint of disappointment.

I rolled my eyes then walk past him. Weirdo.
