Chapter 10. Round three

Amalia’s pov

I was barely able to keep my composure when we arrived home and got out of the car. The stars were shining brightly above us, reminding me that a new day was coming soon. I thought back to what had happened and all I wanted was a way to erase it from my memory forever. 

I went straight to my room without even saying goodnight to them, I was too embarrassed to talk to them. 

As I closed my door behind me, I leaned against it and let out a deep sigh. I knew I had to face the reality of my feelings for Christopher and move on, but it was easier said than done.

I had a shower trying to wash away the embarrassment and shame that clung to me like a second skin. But no matter how hard I scrubbed, the memories wouldn't go away.

As I was drying myself off, I heard a knock on my door. My wolf went feral, she wanted blood. I could smell Stela outside of my room.
