Diana’s POV

“I'm so excited, Diana,” Leah squealed, as we boarded her dad's private jet, “I can’t wait to show you around Ibiza.”

Three days ago, I was beside myself with joy when Leah invited me to spend two months in Ibiza with her and her father for the summer.

We only just became finance sophomores last week, and were currently on summer break.

“I can’t wait either,” I smiled, my thoughts drifting to her father, Benjamin Gonzalez, the one and only man who I'd been obsessed with since I was fifteen.

The first and only time I met him was three years ago at our middle school graduation.

I still and would always maintain that Benjamin was the hottest man on earth.

Hell, even on the other planets as well.

Kade was her boyfriend, and to avert her attention from me, I had to use him.

“Yes, he has even replied,” She replied, lips curving into a smile like it always did whenever she spoke of him.

“Alright, that’s good,” I replied, nodding.

Leah was beyond smitten by him and it was quite beautiful to watch, especially since he was also the same about her.

“Mum sends her regards,” Leah said, placing her phone on the tray table.

“Really?” I asked.

“Yes,” She replied, “She's going hiking with my stepdad this weekend.”

“Oh, alright. Send my greetings to her also,” I said, “And tell her I wish her a safe hike.”

“Will do,” Leah responded.

Leah's mum, Violet, was like the mother I wish I had.

According to Leah, Benjamin and her divorced when she was three, but still maintained a cordial relationship.

Violet was there when I got my first period, and it was she who gave me a box of pads, a cup of mint tea, and a warm hug.

Even when I moved to my college dorm, it was Violet who helped transport my luggage with her car as my parents were both too busy with work.

Mum was a financier while Dad was an attorney.

I had never seen a couple that despised and at the same time were obsessed with each other like the both of them.

As neither of them actually cared about me, I’d attended boarding schools throughout my life.

I had even attended a boarding nursery school.

Even the message I’d sent to tell them about my trip to Ibiza was still unread.

My parents always treated me like I was a liability, not their child.

Hours later when the private jet had taken off, Leah reclined against her seat and yawned, “I'm so sleepy, Diana.”

“Sleep,” I replied, motioning to my shoulder, which she immediately rested her head on.

“Wake me up when we get to Ibiza, okay?” She yawned again.

“Don't tell me you are planning to sleep for ten hours,” I said, a teasing lilt to my voice.

“I actually may,” She replied, “Kade and I spent the night together, so I couldn't sleep. I wish you weren't such a prude, so we would talk about sex, ugh.”

The fact that Leah thought of me as a prude was utterly laughable.

If only she knew about the countless lewd dreams I have had about Benjamin, she wouldn't say that.

“What do you think of this place? Dad got it about a year ago.” Leah revealed, motioning to the opulent storey building in front of us.

“It's beautiful,” I replied, and she nodded, smiling.

The fact that I was seeing Benjamin soon made me sit up instantly.

As soon as I saw him standing at the entrance in his regal glory, I became thoughtless, and my throat went dry.

“My pumpkin,” His velvety timbre wafted into my ears, and I became wet instantly, my thoughts wallowing to the most lewd part of my brain.

“Dad!” Leah's scream jolted me out of my reverie, causing me to smile as he caught her in his arms and kissed her forehead.

In a blue and white striped short sleeve shirt, showcasing his strong biceps, and a pair of white shorts paired with white slides, Benjamin effortlessly oozed sexiness.

His jet black hair was slicked back, accentuating his deep-set blue eyes and the enthralling shape of his forehead.

Simply put, Benjamin had gotten even hotter.

“It's nice seeing you again, Diana,” Benjamin uttered, after placing Diana down, “How are your studies and your parents?”

“S-Same here, Mr Gonzalez,” I replied, inwardly relieved that I hadn't called him Benjamin but dampened by my stutter. “Everything's fine. I mean, my parents and studies. Also, thanks for allowing me to come with Leah. I have never been out of the country before.”

Why was I rambling like a pathetic moron in front of him?

“You're fine, Diana. Dad is not going to eat you raw,” Leah reassured, then gave her dad an admonishing look, “Dad, quit scaring my friend.”

How was I supposed to tell her that Benjamin eating me raw was exactly what I was hoping for, and that he wasn't scaring me at all?

No matter how hard I tried to control my wanton thoughts, it was like my perverted brain couldn’t stop thinking about him in a sultry light, and it scared me.

Was I really going to keep thirsting over someone I could never have forever?

Right there and then, I decided I had to stop this madness immediately.

“Do I scare you, Diana?” He asked, and I swallowed harshly, reluctantly averting my gaze from his alluring eyes.

“N-No,” I whispered, as Leah hooked her arm to my shoulder.

“You heard the girl, Leah,” He uttered, a wry smile curving his lips, “Anyway, welcome to Ibiza. I hope you have a great time here.”

“Thanks, Mr Gonzalez,” I replied, mentally applauding myself for getting a statement out without stammering.
